Built in 2020 and nestled across more than 120 acres of scenic landscape, Post 6 offers a peaceful escape just 15 minutes from downtown Chapel Hill. Designed with modern comforts and surrounded by open skies and natural beauty, our venue invites you to slow down, celebrate fully, and savor every moment. Post 6 is the home of the American Legion of Chapel Hill, a place grounded in service to U.S. veterans and their families. We proudly welcome the community at large to host life’s most meaningful celebrations—from romantic weddings and milestone anniversaries to elegant fundraisers and corporate gatherings. With over 14,000 square feet of versatile interior space, along with a beautiful outdoor patio and covered pavilion, Post 6 is thoughtfully designed for celebrations both intimate and grand. Our flexible spaces allow your vision to unfold effortlessly-indoors or outdoors, rain or shine. At Post 6, every gathering is more than an event—it’s a moment meant to be remembered.

Our one-of-a-kind Ballroom features: no pillars, a handcrafted 35 foot cupola ceiling, a stage, supreme audio, a dance floor, ability to have up to 180 guests for a seated dinner, direct access to the Outdoor Courtyard, the Club Room, private hallway for your grand entrance.

Upon entry to Post 6, you are greeted with over 35 foot wooden beam ceilings, designer lounge seating, a double-sided stone fireplace, a built-in bar, and access to the Outdoor Courtyard.
