About this venue
This is our sixth year as owners and caretakers of this wonderful old place on Mentor Avenue. It has been a pleasure to host and serve thousands of visitors in their celebrations at Candoren since 2019. You will feel refreshed by our sincere welcome, the gift of hospitality, and the unique, old-world charm present throughout this lovingly restored, spacious 1895 mansion. Every day is just a little more special when you are surrounded by crystal and china, antique linens and flatware, vintage fixtures and original floors. We provide a relaxed and comfortable setting to retreat from the busy pace of life. At Candoren, every gathering is customized for you, whether it is an onsite retreat, a special event for the day, a fascinator tea party, an overnight celebration, or a family reunion week filled with those you love most! Our Candoren staff will help plan your theme, the best event layout, and your choices of food, beverages and decor.
