About this venue

We are a American Plan Sporting Camp with 32 cabins on the water. The cabins range from one bedrooms to four and all have porches as well as there own dock. It has been operated by the same family since 1910. We have a dining room that holds 120 people and enough beds for that many as well.

Beach Front

A beautiful view of Great Pond

This is the main beach front of camp. It has a Sandy beach and flat ground. Most rent a tent and either have the ceremony or reception by the lake. There is a fire pit to have a bonfire and multiple cabins near by to use for bathrooms and water access.

Cozy fisherman lodge

This is a dining room with tables to seat 120 people. There is also a large covered porch attached. The front lawn is also available for a tent or catering services. We can also cater but meal options are limited.

    Perfect lakeside wedding venue

    Bear Spring Camps was the perfect spot to have our Maine lakeside wedding. Our guests raved all weekend about the cabins they were staying in and just how stunning and peaceful the scenery was. The Churchill’s were excellent communicators throughout the entire process and so easy to work with. We had our wedding in September of 2025- the weather was beautiful and the established hydrangeas and landscape lent itself to amazing wedding photos. I cannot recommend Bear Springs enough if you want an elevated Maine camp experience for your wedding.

    Dream Lakeside Wedding

    We had the dreamiest wedding at Bear Spring Camps. We were able to have our ceremony, reception, and lodging all in one place which made it so fun and easy for our guests! The lakeside setting felt like something out of a dream, and the natural beauty of the camp meant we didn't need to add much decoration. We were blown away by how well everything came together, and our guests still can't stop talking about how much fun they had. We'd absolutely recommend Bear Spring Camps to any couple looking for a true Maine wedding experience.
