I'm Rod, but everyone calls me Jax. I'm a Maine wedding photographer, which mostly means I drive a lot. Nothing in Maine is close to anything else. It's worth it. Rocky coastlines. Old barns. Mountain overlooks. Fall color that looks fake. I have zero complaints about the scenery. But the scenery isn't why I do this. It's the people. The laughter. The nervous hands before the ceremony. The uncle who absolutely did not plan on dancing that hard. I cover weddings and elopements across Maine and New England, and I'm there for all of it. Maine just gives us one hell of a backdrop. If you care more about how your day felt than how perfectly everyone posed, we'll get along great.

Wedding days get chaotic. Timelines shift. Rain rolls in. Someone forgets the rings I retired from the Air Force, so it takes a lot more than a wedding-day curveball to rattle me. While everyone else is stressing, I'm keeping things moving and fixing the little problems before you ever hear about them. Couples say I'm professional without being stiff as a board. You get to actually enjoy your day while I document it as it happens, step in with direction when you need it, and get a few badass portraits along the way. Real moments, bold portraits, and one hell of a good time.
