For couples who prefer more flexibility, we also welcome outside vendors or offer the option to rent the space on its own.

    Bargoa: Great Experience

    We booked Bar Goa twice for parties of around 20 people and had a great experience both times. Their team was responsive and easy to work with from start to finish, which made the planning process smooth. The space works really well for smaller groups like ours, though I'd note that larger crowds might need to reserve the whole venue. The staff was understanding and cooperative throughout the night, and their bartender was genuinely impressive with the drinks. We felt taken care of from beginning to end, and we'd definitely book there again for future celebrations.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We have an elevator that goes to the bathroom on the lower floor.
Bar Goa (located at 116 W. Hubbard St. in Chicago's River North) is about 16.9 miles (roughly a 25-minute drive) from Chicago O'Hare International Airport and about 11.8 miles (roughly a 19-minute drive) from Chicago Midway International Airport, depending on traffic. You can reach our venue by public transportation via the train, or by private car or taxi.
There is street parking available and various public parking lots nearby. Valet parking is available on the weekend via the nightclub venue next door to us.
We typically book out the venue for 3 hours minimum.
No, our venue is fully insured.
We have nightclub quality sound system. You can play your own spotify playlist or we have a roster of Djs that we can provide. We have DJ connections on both levels of the restaurant so we can set it up based on your preference.
We offer passed apps as well as buffet setups and can customize packages based on your vision. For groups of 35 or less we can also do a full seated family style dinner.
We have several different bar packages available for 2 or 3 hours. We can also do drink tickets or beverages billed on consumption.
Yes, with enough time to plan we can do a few items that are custom designed for your party and/or bring in items from our sister restaurants. ( ROOP, Monarch & Lion and Yasemi)
Yes, absolutely. We ask that your artist comes in atleast a week before the event for a test run and to make sure they have all the proper cables to hook into our system.
