Our Day of Coordination Fell Short
I was very disappointed with my day-of coordination. This company often posts about how your family should not be doing the work while decorating and should be able to enjoy the day, but that was not my experience. My family and bridal party had to step in several times; both with decorating and clean up. I organized all decor by table in separate totes to make it easy. Each table only needed a cheesecloth and a few candles, with some garland on longer tables. Even with everything this prepared, our tables were not finished when our DJ was getting ready to start playing background music, and my personal attendants and maid of honor ended up decorating a handful of tables. My sister said, you still need to decorate the bar (only a few drink signs flowers) and the response was and I quote “ask the bartenders to do it” They are there to make drinks and serve guests, not decorate. From the first time we talked, I explained that setup and teardown were the main services I needed. I even paid for two extra hours to make sure teardown would be handled. At the end of the night, my coordinator asked several people in my wedding party who was taking décor down, even pulled me the bride from the dance floor to ask questions at multiple times. That was the number one thing I hired them to do. At 9:30, most tables were still full, and my parents had to start helping. We were late to our after party because we were trying to organize everything. Guests were left waiting in the shuttle. I am sure the experience is great if you receive the full attention that is advertised. Unfortunately, that was not the experience I had. When I shared my concerns afterward, I only received an email stating that their processes would be reviewed. I did rate this a couple of stars because there were moments that were great, just wish we would have received everything we paid for the entire time and not treated as an after thought.

We do want to note that our day-of coordination service is handled by a single coordinator, and the setup and teardown of décor can sometimes be a significant task depending on the amount and complexity of items involved. That said, we understand this should have been communicated more clearly and better managed on our end. We have since reviewed our processes to ensure clearer expectations and improved support for both our team and our clients moving forward. Their communication style was easy, clear, and concise, with a mature and professional approach that put us at ease throughout the entire planning process. The team at Uniqu Co. was incredibly hard-working, detail-oriented, and collaborative, ensuring that every aspect of our special day ran flawlessly. In particular, our planner Connor worked seamlessly with our other vendors, including the photographer and venue coordinator, so I never had to worry if everything was set up and running as it should. She executed our vision perfectly, allowing me to fully enjoy our wedding day without any stress or concerns. She went above and beyond for us and was genuinely excited to be a part of our day. Connor was great to work with! She was helpful, fun, and did everything we asked of her. Her different packages to choose from and add on services, such as coming to our rehearsal, made it easy to get the specific services we needed that fit within our budget. She was also great at getting our 4 year old flower girl and 5 year old ring bearer to pay attention and understand what they were to do. She made our big day so easy so that we could just enjoy it. Would definitely recommend!
No one better for the job!
I wasn't sure about having a coordinator but I needed one for my venue rules so after getting in contact with Connor, I knew I would be in good hands. From the beginning with Connor, I felt that I could always ask questions and she always communicated so clearly and flawlessly. She is so personable and genuinely kind. Natalie was my day of coordinator. Connor made sure Natalie had all of the information so she could step right in and kill it and she really did. I clicked with Natalie instantly and felt that she could handle anything. She handled changes with ease and we ran ahead of schedule all day between her and the other vendors. She checked in with me often and made sure we ate and drank and I loved that we had a drink waiting for us at the table. She was easy to talk to and she was amazing at communicating changes to the other vendors and treated my whole wedding party, guests and us as if we were her own family. I'm so happy that I went with this company and these ladies because they truly helped make my day all the more special.
