    Simply the Best!

    I used Ruth as my decorator for my wedding and she was amazing!! She definitely made my vision for the wedding venue come to reality. She really understands the importance of being flexible for calls and texts, and responded promptly whenever I needed to get in touch with her. She was punctual, arriving to decorate the venue on time, as well as returning for clean up/ removing decorations. She provided my bridesmaids and I with beautiful bouquets as well as boutonnières for the groom and groomsmen. She executed my decorations flawlessly. Ruth also has a warm and friendly yet professional personality and was so easy to communicate with. She makes you feel like your wedding/event is her top priority. I couldn’t have asked for a better decorator! She truly is the best!

    Helpful, Caring, and Professional

    Working with SPC Wedding & Event Mgt. was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Ruth and her team were incredibly timely, friendly, welcoming, and effective in their communication, which made the planning process seamless. Their work was also professional, efficient, and creative. As an out-of-town bride with a lot of DIY decor, Ruth graciously stored everything for us, delivered it all to the venue, and beautifully set it up on the day of the wedding. Additionally, Ruth took the lead where other vendors lacked and ensured everything ran smoothly, catering to the needs of the entire bridal party. I personally lead most weddings at SPC, supported by a talented team. Over the past 8 years, we’ve planned an average of 40 weddings per year in Austin and beyond, including Hindu, Indian fusion, Nigerian, African American, Jewish, Mexican, Caucasian, Asian, and many other cultural celebrations. My passion for love stories inspired me to become an author and relationship coach, giving me a unique perspective to help couples create meaningful, joyful weddings that truly reflect their connection. Our collaborative team approach ensures every detail is handled with care, so you can relax and enjoy your special day.
You bet! We don’t just do weddings — we plan it all, from baby showers, birthdays, and Quinceanera to your office holiday parties. Because we work year-round on weddings, private celebrations, and corporate events, we’re experienced, well-equipped, and ready to make any event unforgettable and stress-free.
For partial planning, we usually dedicate about 14 hours, and full-service planning averages around 30 hours. This covers everything from planning and day-of coordination to preparing documents, reviewing contracts, vendor management, design, regular check-ins, and rehearsal coordination. Plus, we offer unlimited consultations via text and email — so you’re never left hanging. And here’s the best part: I’m not just your planner, I’m your new bestie who listens, shares laughs, and makes this whole journey fun and exciting. We make sure every detail is covered so you can relax and enjoy the ride!
While I love dedicating a full day to each wedding, we do accommodate one additional event per day depending on the level of service required. I have an amazing team of wedding and event coordinators who work closely with me and handle tasks when I’m booked for that day. If you book us first, I’ll coordinate and plan your wedding personally. If I’m already booked, my expert team will step in to coordinate, while I remain your main contact until about a month before the wedding. This way, you get expert care, personal attention, and a seamless experience no matter how busy the weekend — at no additional charge.
Absolutely! Many of our brides have flown me out to their wedding destinations because I bring a personal touch combined with a trusted global network of vendors and partners. No matter where love takes you, SPC is ready to plan and coordinate your perfect day — from Austin to anywhere in the world.
