At Simply Southern Events, we take care of the timelines, details, setup, vendor coordination, and all the little things happening behind the scenes so you and the people you love can actually enjoy the day. Whether you need someone to bring your plans across the finish line or help turn your ideas into a celebration that feels completely like you, we’ll meet you where you are and take it from there. From fluffing the veil and perfecting the tables to keeping everyone on schedule and handling the unexpected, we’re there for all of it. You enjoy the moment. We’ll handle the rest.

We don’t just make the plan—we’re right there making sure it happens. Simply Southern Events is hands-on, personal, and ready to jump in wherever we’re needed. We coordinate vendors, manage timelines, handle the details, and keep the day moving—but we’re just as likely to be fixing a veil, straightening a place setting, or making sure our couple stops long enough to eat. We get to know our couples and what matters most to them. If something needs to be handled, we handle it—often before they ever know there was a problem

From “Where do we start?” to “I do,” we’re with you every step of the way. We’ll help manage your budget, find the right vendors and venue, review contracts, develop your design, organize logistics, and keep every detail moving. When wedding day arrives, we’re there to bring it all together, handle the unexpected, and make sure you and your favorite people can simply enjoy the celebration.

Your dream wedding doesn’t have to be close to home. From finding the right vendors and managing travel logistics to creating your design, timeline, and wedding-day plan, we’ll coordinate the details from start to finish. When it’s time to celebrate, we’ll be there to manage it all so you and your guests can simply enjoy the experience. Travel and accommodations are additional.

Great wedding-day coordination starts long before the wedding day. Our Wedding Management package begins about two months out, when we step in to finalize details, create your timeline, confirm vendors, and prepare for a seamless celebration. On wedding day, we manage the logistics, vendors, and unexpected moments behind the scenes so you can stop planning, be fully present, and enjoy the day you worked so hard to create.

Have the plans handled but need help bringing the look together? Our Event Design service turns your ideas and inspiration into a cohesive wedding-day vision. We’ll help develop the overall aesthetic, tablescapes, décor, rentals, and styling details, then create a clear design plan for your celebration. Décor, rentals, florals, specialty items, delivery, setup, and additional labor are priced separately.

    We chose Simply Southern Events LLC to plan our wedding and while Jenn did provide an emergency kit that came in handy, our experience had some rough patches. Communication was inconsistent—there were times we wouldn't hear back for a day or two, which made planning stressful. What frustrated us most was being asked questions about details we had already discussed in our meetings, and we never received a timeline for our wedding day itself. On the day of, we felt rushed out of the venue even though we had access until 11pm, and our bridal party mentioned feeling judged and receiving attitude from staff. We're grateful our wedding happened, but better organization and more consistent communication would have made the experience smoother.

    Jenn was an absolute gem!

    I'm so lucky I crossed paths with Jenn at the Nashville Pink Bride wedding expo! From our initial interaction, I felt an immediate sense of comfort and confidence in Jenn's capabilities. I found myself in a bit of a bind, needing a last-minute day-of coordinator for my wedding walk-through. She not only swooped in to make it happen but also went the extra mile.     Jennifer did our wedding a while back and I could write five pages about how great she was. No one would read that, so the short of it is she’s easily worth 5x what she charges. Best money we spent in the whole wedding process by far no close second. Amazing during the planning and even better the week of the event.

    Jenn with Simply Southern Events is very organized and detail focused. She keeps timelines moving and makes sure everyone is where they need to be to make the wedding a success. As a florist, officiant, as well as being a planner/coordinator myself, I have seen her in action multiple times. I have learned a great deal from her and asked her for trusted advice as I got my own business off the ground. Highly recommend!

Yes! While weddings are our specialty, we’re happy to help with rehearsal dinners, showers, welcome parties, and other wedding-related celebrations. These events can be added to a planning package or quoted separately depending on the level of planning and coordination needed.
We never book multiple weddings that would compromise the attention our couples deserve. When you hire Simply Southern Events, you can expect a team that is present, prepared, and focused on your celebration. Our availability for additional events that weekend depends on the scope, location, and staffing needs of each wedding.
That depends on the service you choose. Wedding Management begins about 8–12 weeks before your wedding and focuses on final details, vendor coordination, timeline creation, and execution. Full Planning & Design begins up to 12 months out and includes ongoing planning support throughout the process. Either way, our goal is to give you the support you need without making wedding planning feel like another full-time job.
Wedding Management is perfect for couples who have planned their wedding and are ready to hand over the details. We step in about 8–12 weeks before the wedding to finalize logistics, create the timeline, confirm vendors, and manage the wedding day. Full Planning & Design is for couples who want support from the beginning. We help with budgeting, venues, vendors, contracts, design, logistics, and all the details along the way—then bring everything together on wedding day.
Absolutely! Simply Southern Events is based in Middle Tennessee and loves celebrating with couples near and far. Travel within 50 miles of Murfreesboro is included in our standard pricing. Weddings beyond that area may require an additional travel fee, and destination weddings may also require accommodations and other travel expenses. If you have a location in mind, reach out—we’d love to hear where you’re celebrating!
That’s exactly why we’re there! Weddings have a lot of moving parts, and sometimes the unexpected happens. Our job is to stay calm, find a solution, and keep the day moving. We work behind the scenes with your vendors and wedding party to handle problems as they arise—often before you ever know there was a problem. You should be enjoying your wedding, not troubleshooting it.
Absolutely! We’re happy to work with the vendor team you’ve already chosen. With Wedding Management, we’ll connect with your vendors before the wedding, review the important details, confirm timing and responsibilities, and make sure everyone is working from the same plan. Our goal is to bring your vendor team together so you don’t have to spend your wedding day answering questions or managing logistics.
Yes! We’re hands-on and happy to help bring the details of your wedding together. The amount of setup and cleanup included depends on your package, venue requirements, décor, and the size of the event. If your wedding requires extensive setup, room flips, specialty installations, or end-of-night breakdown, we’ll discuss those needs in advance and determine any additional staffing or fees so there are no surprises.
Yes! When rehearsal coordination is included in your package, we’ll help organize the processional, make sure everyone knows where to stand and when to move, and answer those last-minute questions before wedding day. Our goal is to leave the rehearsal with everyone feeling comfortable and prepared—so when it’s time for the ceremony, you can focus on getting married instead of directing traffic.
Every wedding is different, so we staff your day based on what it actually needs. Guest count, venue layout, setup requirements, timeline, and logistics all help determine the appropriate team size. Your package includes the staffing outlined in your agreement, and if your wedding requires additional hands, we’ll identify that well before wedding day so everyone knows exactly what to expect.
Absolutely! Timeline creation is one of the most important parts of what we do. We work with your vendor team to build a realistic timeline that considers everything from getting ready and photos to the ceremony, reception, and final send-off. We also make sure the right people have the information they need—so you aren’t watching the clock or answering “What happens next?” all day.
Once you’re officially an SSE couple, we’ll guide you through exactly what comes next based on the service you’ve chosen. You’ll know when we’ll meet, what we need from you, and what we’re working on along the way. As your wedding gets closer, communication increases and the details come together. You’ll never have to wonder, “What am I supposed to be doing right now?”—we’ll help keep you on track.
