We’re sisters, moms, and the planning duo behind Martingale Event Co., offering thoughtful wedding planning and coordination from the Triangle and Triad to destinations across the state and beyond, we help couples bring their celebrations to life with care, creativity, and intention. With ten years of combined event planning experience, we believe the most meaningful weddings aren’t about perfection—they’re about connection, happy tears, and the moments you’ll cherish long after the last dance. We’re proudly and radically queer-affirming, welcoming every love story, every identity, and every kind of family.     Best vendor decision we made!

    Sarah was amazing from our first contact; she was incredibly responsive to our inquiry email and understanding of the bitter sweetness of the time with Aubry's mom’s illness. She was warm, receptive, and professional. I liked that Sarah was thorough and used trauma-informed communication skills, like anticipating our emotional needs. Aubry would like to add that Sarah saved us from a MAJOR vendor snag and optimized the situation when we would have been grateful with a lot less. We would recommend Sarah to anyone who wants to be able to enjoy their own party! She was like an extension of our brains so we could be more present. Hiring Sarah was an extremely good investment and our best vendor decision.

    Wonderful experience, from planning to photos!

    Sarah was absolutely amazing as both our wedding planner and photographer! Helping us plan a wedding from such a distance could have been overwhelming, but she made the entire process feel easier with regular video calls, constant support, and her ability to keep me calm and on track. She knew how to ease my anxiety, keep me organized, and make sure I could actually enjoy the experience instead of getting lost in the stress of planning. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful! We wanted a small, intimate setting that felt personal and meaningful, and Sarah helped us bring that vision to life. As a same-sex couple, it meant so much to have someone we could genuinely trust to understand us, support us, and help make our day everything we dreamed it would be. That kind of comfort and confidence is priceless. She went above and beyond, and we couldn't be more grateful for everything she did for us.     Very Proactive!

    I had the pleasure of working with Ginny as a creative partner. I'm a wedding hair and makeup specialist and this was, by far, one of the most enjoyable and well put-together events I've contributed to in a long time. The communication was proactive and answered all the questions I had, even the ones I didn't know I had. The day ran smoothly and was coordinated with the utmost precision. The attention to detail was not unnoticed.10/10

    Such a Pleasure to Work With

    As a wedding photographer, I know how much of a difference it makes to work alongside someone who is thoughtful, organized, and genuinely cares about the experience they're creating, and she was such a joy to work with! She was always so kind and easy to communicate with, and I was so impressed by how prepared and detail oriented she was. She was constantly thinking ahead, making sure everything was on track, and ready with a backup plan when needed. What I appreciated most was how naturally she balanced being attentive and proactive without ever feeling overbearing. She knew when to step in, when to offer help, and when to let things unfold, which made working with her such a wonderful experience. She has such a warm personality, and it's clear how much care she puts into what she does. I would absolutely love to work with her again and would highly recommend her to any couple looking for someone who will go above and beyond to help bring their vision to life!

We’re a team of two lead planners. Each of us may have a wedding on the same date or weekend, but when you book one of us, we’re fully yours for that day. No splitting attention, no running between events — just one celebration at a time.
On the wedding day, you’ll have us for a standard 10 hours. Extra time can be added if needed. Leading up to the day, how often we meet depends on your package and what you need — but we never limit contact. If something comes up, we’re here.
Yes. We can help with any event you’d like support on — showers, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and more. These can be planned on their own or added to an existing package.
We’re a team of two. When you submit an inquiry, one of us will reach out personally — that person will be your lead planner from start to finish. No handoffs, no surprises.
