Jeanne Colquette is the founder and lead planner of Events Your Way, a full-service event planning company proudly serving clients in Arizona since 2004. Jeanne’s journey into event planning began while working as a Sales Manager for a catering company. It was during one particular wedding, when a bridesmaid asked her to press the play button to begin the ceremony, that she had an “aha” moment — this special day deserved thoughtful coordination and pre-planned support. From backyard weddings to formal events, Jeanne’s mission has always been to create seamless, personalized events reflecting the client's unique stories — always your way.

With a background in catering and over 20 years in the industry, Jeanne understands every side of an event- from logistics and timing to vendor coordination and emotional support.     Jeanne is truly the BEST!

    Working with Jeanne as our wedding coordinator was truly the best decision we made in our wedding planning process! We met with her via zoom for the first time around 6 months before the wedding and discussed our overall vision, hopes, and must-haves for the big day. Based on our conversation, Jeanne put together an entire timeline and comprehensive to-do list for us, checking in with us and updating our lists frequently to ensure we were on track! Video calling 2 more times before the wedding helped us to feel confident in our planning- Jeanne had all the small details covered, and even a packing list for us! In the weeks leading up to the wedding, Jeanne had begun communicating with our vendors which was a huge weight off our shoulders. On our wedding weekend, Jeanne and her partner Ginia, helped tremendously at the Rehearsal and on our Big Day! Everything ran incredibly smoothly on the day of the wedding. I don’t believe there were any hiccups and even if there were, I was blissfully unaware, which is all I could have asked for! Ways that I think Jeanne went above and beyond: 1. Picking up and dropping off linen rentals for us. 2. Allowing us to borrow from her inventory of decor/items like plate chargers, table numbers, and a cake cutter! 3. Having a team of wonderful staff to assist with serving champagne, dessert and doing much more behind the scenes! 4. Capturing the ceremony in pictures and videos. We decided not to have a videographer at our wedding and asked guests not to use their phones during the ceremony. We were absolutely thrilled and delighted to find out that Jeanne had filmed a majority of the ceremony, as well as the toasts and our first dance on her phone. We were so thankful to have footage of it to send to family who couldn’t come! We are so grateful to have worked with Jeanne! All of our family and friends have been so complimentary of the day, and we truly got to just enjoy our wedding and soak it all in! Thank you thank you thank you!

    Jeanne is a lifesaver!

    We hired Jeanne for day-of coordination and light planning for our backyard wedding, and she was absolutely fantastic. She was incredibly organized, reliable, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Her calm, professional approach gave us total peace of mind, and her team executed everything beautifully. We genuinely enjoyed working with her and are so grateful for the role she played in making the day run smoothly. Highly recommend!

    Rockstar Planner!!

    I truly could not have asked for a better wedding planner than Jeanne! I was very DIY and wanted to do everything myself, and then I realized I actually needed help. We hired Jeanne on and she was a God-send. She was attentive and listened to all my crazy dreams and found ways to bring them to life. Jeanne was through, on top of everything, had so many great ideas, useful connections, and a ton of experience. If you’re considering using Jeanne, just do it. You won’t regret it and you’ll be happy your wedding came to life as you imagined!

I have an amazing team of planners that can step right in and finish the planning if needed.
We will create a contract for you to sign and we require a 50% deposit to confirm the date. The balance is due the week of the wedding.
We do not address invitations, but we know some great vendors that can help with this. We also do not help with the guest list and handle R. S. V. P.'s because we don't know your guests as well as you do, and that makes it really hard for us.
While the terms wedding coordinator and planner are often used interchangeably, they actually refer to different roles in the wedding planning process. Good news! Events Your Way offers both services in their packages. It depends on when you reach out for help, we help pull it all together and still end up helping with some of the planning and are there on day-of. A Wedding Planner is involved from the beginning. They help you design, plan, and manage your wedding from start to finish. A Wedding Coordinator usually steps in closer to the wedding. They ensure all details are executed smoothly, usually a few months out from the wedding.
When you are ready to sign the contract and pay the 50% deposit, we get started on the planning. We ask that you send us a copy of your vendor contracts, photos of your cake, flowers, design details, and more. We prefer to meet at the venue to start the planning so that we can visualize the space, create a timeline, and create a floorplan. After our first on-site meeting, we create monthly or weekly to-do lists. We reach out every couple of weeks to see how your to-do lists are going and to see if you have any questions.
