Hello there! My name is Nicole, and I am the creative force behind Color Me Glitter! ​ A few things about me: my favorite color is glitter, I tell time by how many cups of coffee I've drank, I use too many exclamation points, and I am meticulous about table set ups! ​ I have worked in the event industry since 2009, and I couldn't imagine myself doing anything else! When I worked my first wedding, I fell in love, and knew I had to start my own business! I launched Color Me Glitter in 2017 and have helped many couples make their journey down the aisle! My number one priority is ALWAYS to go above and beyond for my couples!

    Hiring Nicole as our day-of coordinator was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding planning process. Nicole was prompt, thoughtful, and generous with her time and attention at every turn, and blew our expectations for a coordinator out of the park. I think it says a lot also when other vendors who do events like this frequently have good things to say, and our other vendors were positively raving about Nicole to us as the lead-in and the actual wedding day unfolded. Some highlights: * Monthly check-ins: Nicole was prompt and helpful in answering questions and making suggestions at each check-in. We got grateful feedback on some of Nicole’s suggestions about venue directions from several of our guests who used the website to navigate. * Very organized run-of-show: Nicole really set us off on a good foot with the wedding itinerary she sent over the month-ish before the wedding. The questionnaire that she sent us to build the initial draft of the itinerary was well-balanced with both brass tacks details and more open-ended questions about the flow and spirit of the day. What we didn’t expect was the amazing job Nicole then did of turning around and communicating with our other vendors about the details we settled on. Over the next week or so we started having our one-month-out check-ins with catering, photography, music, etc. and the major theme was “well I had a long list of questions for you, but your coordinator reached out to me–she is just FANTASTIC–and if we can confirm [insert all the correct details] then actually there’s nothing to do on your end”. It was AWESOME. For example, here is one of the actual quotes from one of my vendors emailing me:

 “Nicole and I talked and everything is taken care of, she is delightful and I can’t wait to meet her! Soooo excited for the big day!”

In the chaos of planning such a large-event I’m sure that anyone reading this review can imagine what a pleasure and a relief getting message after message like this is. And those messages were repeated by all of our vendors and many of our guests on the day. The thorough planning Nicole orchestrated really paid off. Our photos got knocked out like 1-2-3-DONE with Nicole’s cat-herding skills and thorough lists of names, and even when there were a few shuffley moments in the day (there will always be *something*) we were able to sail through them pretty breezily because Nicole had a firm handle on the broader spirit that we wanted the day to instill in us and our guests. At the end of our night, Nicole had already gotten most of the venue turned over (definitely, definitely recommend her services at Rural Hill in particular, a venue that she also manages). Our things to take home were neatly packaged to be loaded into our car. It was crazy easy and we were wrapped up in plenty of time for our rental period. As an extra bonus, I remembered the next day that we needed to collect and return a cake stand to our baker–when I reached out to Nicole about it the afternoon of the *day after our wedding*, she had already taken care of its return for us. There is even more I could go on about but my first draft of this review exceeded the character limit: there is really too much to type. TL;DR: Nicole was amazing. I don’t even feel like I covered everything, but she was absolutely key in making our day TOTALLY MAGICAL and RIDICULOUSLY EASY. 10/10 recommend, she is a pleasure to work with and really on top of things.

    Nicole is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! She really made our vision and dream day come true. She was so helpful during the planning and really shined the weeks leading up by contacting all the vendors, creating a very detailed timeline and making sure the day ran smoothly. Highly recommend Nicole and her team to help with your dream wedding!!

    We used Nicole with Color Me Glitter for our Day-Of/Month-Of Coordination of our wedding, and we can't recommend her highly enough. Even prior to the month of our wedding, she was in constant communication with us regarding checklists and items that we may not have missed. In the "crunch time" of the month before the wedding, Nicole was able to coordinate with all of our vendors and created a beautiful setting - indoors and out - for our special day. She made what could have been an incredibly stressful day seamless - and was on top of every single detail, no matter how small/minute. She had my wife and I at ease throughout our wedding day - no small task!
