I'm Carly, the full-time photographer behind Wind & Waves Media, and I'm married to Daniel, the videographer. We love to kayak, hike, and explore nature, and we don't mind getting a little messy and minimizing the posed moments during weddings/elopements. We enjoy adventure, laugh a lot, and love deeply. Our goal is to create stunning images and films with an elegant flair.

This is a place for outdoorsy, passionate couples to tell their love stories. Whether you're celebrating exploring the mountains, hiking the sand dunes, or even reminiscing in your favorite ice cream shop, we would be honored to photograph and film your story.

YES. We love this part of the job! We spend hours exploring hidden places, scouring maps, and doing research on beautiful, secluded spots. Once you book with us, we're happy to share all the location information we have with you and help you pick a spot that's perfect for you + your story together.
Your high-resolution photos will be delivered to you via a private website. You will be able to download the images within two weeks of delivery. There is no limit to the number of photographs you will receive from your wedding day (it will probably be more than you’re thinking).
We value details, and that’s why each image is edited one-by-one. We have a distinct true-to-color style and level of consistency. We value accurate coloring, symmetry, well-lit/sharp faces, true whites, flattering skin, and minimal distractions.

I’ll follow up with sending you the wedding package options, and we will schedule a time to chat — on a phone call, FaceTime, or over coffee — so you have the opportunity to ask any questions and I can get to know you and your fiance a little bit more!
Most likely! It all depends on what I have scheduled before and after the day of your session.
Nope! However, there is the option of ordering prints and canvases through the website that I use to deliver your photos.
While I can't control the weather on your wedding day, I can be prepared! I come to weddings prepared for poor weather, and I keep tabs on the weather as the wedding week approaches. If it looks like things could be iffy, I offer some backup plans for photos if we were planning some outdoor spots for your portraits.
