Terra Lange Photography

I live in Portland with my little family and I am thankful every day that I get to do something I love as a full time career. I got my BFA in photography from California College of the Arts in 2009, and started shooting weddings shorty after that. I believe there is so much magic in a photograph. It allows something to keep on existing, even after it’s gone. I strive to capture moments authentically but cleverly, using light, color and composition to make things compelling and beautiful. I try to be as candid as possible and use very minimal posing; taking a photojournalistic approach whenever I can.

I want your wedding to be everything that you want it to be, and I strive not only to be a great photographer for you, but also a friend and a calm source of joy and support on the big day. I try to approach my work with humility and without an ego or agenda. Your event is more important than my photography. I meet with all of my couples for a planning session that allows me to get to know you and gives me important insights into your style and preferences.
