About Roberto Rodriguez Photography

Roberto Rodriguez

Wedding Photograoher

I've been a photographer for more than 10 years. I spent the first few years of my career as a newspaper photographer and transitioned into weddings within the last 5 years. Weddings really allow me to take my training as a photojournalist to create beautiful story telling images while also allowing me to build deeper connections with my clients. When Im not working, you can find me spending time with my wife, riding my bike around Portland or maybe grabbing a few tacos at my favorite places in Portland.

All my years of working as a photojournalist have prepared me to be able to not only tell the story of your wedding day, but also to tell that story in a non-obtrusive way. I know that my documentary approach allows for my clients to relish the time with each other and their guests, and also creates a space for genuine moments to flourish.

Normally I work alone, but do recommend a second photographers in situations where I simply cannot be in two important places at once, and when wedding parties are about 125+ guests. I have a working list of fellow established photographers that I rely on to join me when needed.
I will personally be editing all final images edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.
No, but I'm always happy to help but together a list of available videographers to help you in your search.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
I normally send out a small preview of photos within 48 hrs of your wedding so you can easily share with friends and family. On average, the final gallery can he expected in 4-6 weeks, with some weddings being closer to 8-10 weeks a very busy stretch.
Typically my clients book me anywhere between 6-15 months before their wedding. The sooner the better of course as I only book 1 wedding per day.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In that event, I will reach out to a fellow colleague so they can fill in for me on the day. I will make all the connections necessary and share all of my note with that photographer to make the transition as smooth as possible. I will still handle the editing of the images so you are guaranteed that they still look like my style.
My payments is structured so that your final balance is not due until the day of your event. A non-fundable retainer is due at the time of signing a contract to secure the day, but the remaining balance can be paid in whatever installments you choose. I send updated invoicing with any payment received.
My clients tend to be laid back couples who value photography, and want it to be incorporated into their day in a way that feels natural and maximizes the time they are able to spend with each-other and their guests.
