The intention is to create something personal, and personalized - pictures that embody what's unique and beautiful about you, your partner, and your specific connection. Telling your story to its fullest requires the right balance of candid documentation, thoughtfully composed portraits, and scene-setting editorial pictures that highlight the unique details of your day.

We think that your photography experience is just as important as the photos themselves, and bring a relaxed, easy-going energy to interactions with couples. We aren't afraid to step in and lend a hand with direction when needed, and also know when it's best to step aside and to leave room for things to happen spontaneously. The goal is to create a spirit of collaboration and openness, so that you can experience the your day to its fullest, and still know that you'll look and feel amazing in your photos.

Typically, couples book me about 9-18 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I typically have an assistant on hand to help with me to help with carrying equipment, and loading film. A second photographer is often included in collections as well. During our consultation, I can help you determine if it's a good idea to include one, based on the logistics of your day and the kinds of moments you prioritize capturing.
Absolutely. I shoot a combination of film and digital cameras, and edit all the digital photos to match the scans of my film photos, so that colors, skin tones and brightness are clean and consistent across the entire collection.
Typically, you’ll be able to view your all your photos about four weeks after your wedding. The photos will be hosted on a beautiful online proofing site where you can download all your pictures, share with friends and family, and order prints. High resolution images and printing rights are included with all collections.
Every wedding is different, and we absolutely value quality over quantify. Our goal is to give you as many amazing images as we can. That being said, for a typical eight hour wedding day, you can reasonably expect around 600-800 edited final images.
Film images are scanned into high resolution digital files, so what you'll get is just like any photo taken digitally. We also capture photos digitally along with our film captures, and those photos are edited to match the film scans, so everything has a cohesive look. All edited photos are uploaded to your online proofing gallery where you can view, download & share.
One reason we shoot digital alongside film is to make sure that we have backups for every part of the day. In the high unlikely event that something happens to the film, you can rest assured that we will have good backups to tell the full story of your day. That being said, I have been shooting on film for years and have never lost a single frame - my lab is amazing and I trust them completely.
I hear this all the time! Most couples aren't natural models, and that's totally okay. I like to keep things as light, casual and dynamic as possible, so there's a vibe that you're just hanging out and being yourselves, rather than being put in a bunch of awkward poses by some professional photographer. Couples often tell me how much fun they had on the shoot, even if they were nervous going in.
Absolutely. If we work together, it's important that you are familiar with how we cover the day, so you have an idea of what to expect. We're super proud of our work and always happy to share examples with you - just shoot us a message and ask!
