Hi, I'm Katy! I've been a photographer and videographer for over 17 years and I love working with couples to create beautiful, artistic photos and films! My visual style tends to be soft with bright lighting, earthy/vibrant tones, a shallow depth of field (blurred backgrounds and foregrounds), and a mix of prompted and candid poses. My energy tends to be pretty calming, which can help people look and feel more natural in their photos and on video. In 2011, I earned my bachelor's degree in applied media arts (photo/video), and learned the ins and outs of how digital and film cameras work, and even how to build a camera! It has been my passion for quite some time now, and I can't wait to share it with you. I am experienced with both outdoor and studio/indoor lighting, so no need to worry if your wedding is indoors.
