I've been a professional photographer and filmmaker for over 18 years and I love working with couples to create beautiful, artistic photos and films! My style tends to be documentary with a blend of cinematic and vintage (real film) w/ a modern storytelling element.

In 2011, I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Applied Media Arts (photo/video), and learned the ins and outs of how digital and film cameras work, and even how to build a camera.     Best Photographer Ever

    Incredible memories you will have forever!

    We feel so lucky to have found Katy as our videographer. While we were on our honeymoon she sent the link to our wedding video and we got to relive the day through her exquisite footage and editing. Everyone who watches it immediately asks (while wiping away their tears) “WHO was you videographer?!” Katy has an incredible eye and ability for storytelling that encapsulated our special day better than I could have hoped for! Recommend 10/10

Typically, couples book about a year before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame, I might have some last minute availability!
Yes! I'm happy to send a copy of my certificate of liability insurance to your venue or any other vendors upon request.
I do not offer same day edits, as the quality of your video is my top priority and rushing production does not allow me to create my best work.
Your video will be publicly viewable unless you specify otherwise. I'm happy to accommodate your privacy needs.
I generally recommend 2+ videographers, depending on your needs, the logistics of the day, as well as the size of the wedding. With some elopements I can get away with filming by myself.
My turnaround time varies. You’ll be able to view your finished film anywhere between 12-16+ weeks after your wedding.
The short answer is yes, unless you don't want to include audio of your ceremony (and opt for music only). The mic usually blends in pretty well with clothing. I will sometimes will plug into the DJ's sound system (as a backup only) if they allow it, but I do not rely on the DJ's sound system as it can cut out.
Not at this time, however I might consider it for a very small wedding.
I shoot with a variety of Canon gear, varied audio equipment, multiple super 8 cameras (if applicable), as well as a gimbal, drone, and professional lighting gear.
Yes, unless I have a personal emergency (knock on wood, hasn't happened yet), but I have some professional backups who have similar shooting styles that will cover for me (and I've covered for some of them). I would still edit your footage in my own style.
Yes! If you let me know that you're interested ahead of time we can add them on to your package (please let me know before we film your wedding so we can film accordingly the day of).
Good question! I would love to get to know your vendors ahead of time so I can reach out and communicate about the timeline and our working styles. Chances are, if they're in the Bend area, I've probably worked with them in some capacity or have at least met them at a networking event.
Yes! I love chatting about venues, rentals, planners, florists, food, etc. and giving my recommendations.
I am awkward in front of the camera, so I totally understand! I have some pretty good tactics that allow your personalities shine on camera. I always tell people to schedule your day so it doesn't feel rushed, which will help you feel relaxed on camera.
Nope! The whole day is reserved for you. : )
I like to ask ahead of time what music taste couples have and search for cinematic music that fits their vibe. I can't legally use a song without purchasing rights to it (even if it's a private video), so your favorite band/artist is probably not an option unfortunately.
You'll receive a digital download and a shareable link to the highlight film as well as digital downloads for any other deliverables (full speeches, full ceremony, etc.).
I don't, but I know a few people that I can refer you to.
