Katy Nevinsky Photo & Films
Hi, I'm Katy! I've been a photographer and videographer for over 17 years and I love working with couples to create beautiful, artistic photos and films! My visual style tends to be soft with bright lighting, earthy/vibrant tones, and a mix of prompted and candid poses. My energy tends to be pretty calming, which can help people look and feel more natural in their photos and on video.
In 2011, I earned my bachelor's degree in applied media arts (photo/video), and learned the ins and outs of how digital and film cameras work, and even how to build a camera. It has been my passion for quite some time now, and I can't wait to share it with you!

Perfect find!
Katy was so amazing! All of the pictures she took for our engagement and wedding are so spectacular we can’t stop looking at them! Katy is so professional and amazing at what she does I will definitely be reaching out to her in the future for more photos.
Exceptional Wedding Photographer
We feel so very lucky to be able to rave about our wedding photos. (Who is lucky enough to be able to do that?!). Katy photographed our outdoor adventure wedding and was the perfect person for the job. She communicated clearly, showed up early, and went above and beyond. She fit in with our family and friends seamlessly and was able to capture little moments of magic throughout the day. And the photos......far far exceeded our wildest expectations! Everyone who has seen our photos are amazed at how brilliant they are. I cannot say enough great things about Katy. Queen of all trades
Katy is incredibly knowledgeable, not only in photography, but in many other areas of practice beyond the wedding industry. I believe this eclectic knowledge base enables her to see the bigger picture (pun intended) and planfully ensure that the most precious moments and elements of a couple's wedding are captured! She's always thinking several steps ahead, and always comes prepared. As an event planner, I personally appreciate her communication style which is very clear, thorough, and direct! Overall, Katy is an excellent photographer and a truly kind person to work with!
Fun and adventurous!
Katie shot our engagement photos last minute, at a totally new to her spot, at night, in 50mph winds! She handled it all with grace and humor and the photos turned out phenomenal! We couldn't recommend her enough!
