I previously left a higher rating for my experience with D'Mont Reese Photography since I left the review before getting my pictures. I was offered a free print for leaving a google review. Initially it was great due to the professionalism and accommodations. I was reluctant to leave a negative review, but felt compelled to since I expressed my dissatisfaction and the own could care less. I purposely came for my 1 year old birthday photos. I took the time to set up a backdrop and prop only for the photographer to crop out either the background or part of my son from the photos. I was told it's not his responsibility to capture the full background I put up. I showed him a picture I took myself with the full background and made it clear that is what I wanted. He told me I did not have a full background. He placed the white cover on the floor and I place some gold on the white to match the background. I'm not sure why it matter if I added anymore to the background because he would have obviously cropped it out. He also stated he showed me the pictures before I left, which he did. I was focused on making sure we got great poses for my son. Not knowing the background or my son would be cropped from the photos. Nevertheless, when I expressed my concern the owner simply did not care and offered no solutions or reconciliation. I'm leaving the review to let people know that this just may not be the photographer for children photos. Maybe I should have known that as well. Especially since he sat in one spot the entire time to capture all of the photos. Showing no desires to capture the full background or my son's full body in any of his birthday pictures from different angles. The second set of photos he did with the plain white background were nice. He capture my son's full body in those pictures, but that was not the purpose of me coming to him, but at least I got that. I'm now left with these low budget lookinng 1st birthday photos for my son. Thankful for my son's charisma in the photos despite the background, but I did a better job at home with my own camera.

The photographer did a diligent job and took so many beautiful photos. Within 6 days notice the vendor set it up and at a reasonable cost. Was comfortable in touching base and being able to convey the type of event (had 143 guests) and the photo needs which they delivered accordingly. Afterward, they were very helpful in assisting me to tailor the photo link to my sharing needs. I wholeheartedly recommend D’Mont Reese Photography for your future events.

D’Mont was tremendous! I reached out on short notice only 2 days before proposing to my longtime girlfriend. He was very professional and had the difficult task of capturing surprise engagement pictures in 100 degree heat! He made us feel comfortable and delivered all my photos in less than a week, great pictures and well worth the price! Highly recommend!!
