Hello! My name is Brenda and I've resided in SoCal all of my life. Living in Los Angeles has given me the opportunity to explore many beautiful places right here in my backyard, I enjoy hiking and backpacking as well as eating all of the diverse food we can find here! How did I get into Photography? A Middle School project that required us to document our everyday lives sparked that interest and I've had a camera with me since then! Having been a bride myself a few years ago, I know how important photos are. I put myself in your shoes and make sure to document all of the small details and moments as well as the can't miss big moments!

Taking photos isn't easy for most of us, so I make it my goal to photograph my couples as naturally as possible. Your photo session will be fun and I just want you two to interact together, you just leave the composing, posing and photos to me! The result will be a great time with beautiful photos.

    The best!

    Brenda is the best! She was so easy to work with and was a calming presence during the day. Our pictures are absolutely beautiful. We couldn’t be happier!

    Brenda was a DREAM to work with!!

    Having Brenda shoot our wedding day was absolutely amazing! It was such a joy to have there with us on such a stressful day. She put us at ease making sure everything we wanted to capture throughout the day was taken care of. She even helped us prior to the day of answering our questions and creating a shot list for us to give us a glimpse of how the day would be. After the craziness of the day one of things our family and friends kept commenting about is how professional and great she was during the wedding, which was amazing to hear. The sneak peak photos we have received show just what a talented photographer she is and we cannot wait to work with her again!

    When is a Photographer More Than Another Vendor?

    I love photos and photography was one of my must have, high quality items for our wedding. Our original photographer had to back out (with plenty of time and notice) so we found ourselves back at the drawing board several months before the wedding. I found Brenda and loved that her images showed a diverse clientele - as a plus size bride with a SO over 6’ tall, that was something that really mattered to me. By the end of our Zoom meeting I wanted to hug her! I felt confident she was the right fit. When the big day came around, not only was her presence instantly calming (things had already been going wrong that morning) but she was incredibly helpful every step of the way, including trying to find a dropped earring, closing my necklace because everyone’s nails were too long, making sure I had space to take a break when my nerves overwhelmed me. We just got some of our sneak peeks in and wow…I’m crying all over again. She captured moments between my SO and I so beautifully, you can feel the love we have for each other. It sounds cliche, but it’s true! Not only were we pleased with Brenda, our guests and wedding party all had such kind things to say about her - how many weddings have you gone to and complimented the photographer, as a guest?! If her style is one that you like, don’t hesitate to hire Brenda. I can’t wait to take more photos with her as we grow old. She was an important part of our day and, for me, the best person to have by my side throughout the chaotic day. I was so happy to have her as part of our adventurers club.

    Absolutely Flawless

    Intimate Wedding

    We hired Brenda for a small ceremony we had. She was great, she was sweet and I felt comfortable with her which is how I wanted to feel in our photos. She was patient and made the process of taking photos easy. I was amazed when she sent a few example photos the next day..they were all beautiful. I’m so excited to see the rest. Thankfully Brenda knew how to use zoom which was a huge help for us, she was quick to offer help and I appreciated that greatly. I know for sure if we ever need a photographer for anything else we would definitely use Brenda again.

Sometimes I'll bring an assistant along. And if you are interested I do also offer the option to add on a second photographer, I will select someone I've worked with well previously.
Of course! All of the images you receive will be edited to match my personal style. I edit in a way that keeps all your photos looking natural and true to life, just enhancing what’s already there. However I will take care of any unexpected blemishes or pimples, keeping your skin looking natural.
My turnaround time depends on the season. I know how anxious you are to see your photos and I am to share them with you! So I will be sure to share some sneak peeks with you within 48 hours of your Wedding either via Text Message or an Online Gallery. From there you can expect to receive your full gallery within 6-8 weeks from your Wedding Day.
This varies for each wedding and whether you book a second photographer or not. But with one photographer you will receive an average of 60-80 images for every hour of photography.
I shot my first wedding in 2011, so I’ve been photographing weddings for over 10 years now. Throughout that time I’ve had the opportunity to work with a wide range of couples, and each experience has helped me refine my approach to capturing the special moments that truly matter to you on your wedding day.
Definitely! Additional hourly coverage is $175 per hour.
A second photographer can be added to any package! The rate to add them on is $50 per hour, and they must be added on for the same amount of time that you have booked me for.
Yes! A timeline is so important to make the best use of the time you have booked me for. A month before your wedding day I'll send you a questionnaire to gather as much information as possible and I'll start working on your timeline, taking into account any travel we need to do. And if you DJ or Coordinator has a timeline they or you can share that with me as well and I'll work with that.
No, my focus is on photography and providing the best images possible.
No. My focus is photography not video and because of this I shoot with DSLR's. So I do not have a drone. If possible and accessible I will do my best to get to a higher up angle to get a photo of your ceremony.
