Congregation Kol Ami has been the perfect congregation and Jewish community center for our family since we joined in 2014. We especially appreciate how warm and welcoming the clergy and community are, and how open and flexible they are in accommodating our young adult autistic son. This congregation goes out of its way to be inclusive and open to everyone, and we are so grateful to be a part of it.

The last few years I have spent with Kol Ami have been some of the most meaningful. Singing in the choir has become an integral part of my life that I cannot imagine living without. Rabbi Kinberg is a warm, confident leader and I am proud to be part of her kehilla.

A modern reform schul that blends many of the traditions I remember with a more welcoming community.

When we moved here from NY, we needed to find a synagogue that was a good fit for our multi-generational family. We "tried out" several congregations in the area. Kol Ami was far and away the most welcoming, warm, open, and helpful. Have been members for 10 years.

Yes, I especially love working with interfaith couples. I specialize in weaving together Jewish ritual with the traditions, readings, and music that matter to your partner and your families, so that no one feels like a guest at their own celebration.
I am flexible. If cost is a barrier, please ask. We will find a way to make it work.
No synagogue membership is required. My ceremonies are designed for those seeking a personal, meaningful Jewish experience that honors your unique story.
I do not begin with a template. I begin by listening to who you are, who you love, where you come from, what matters to you, and what you hope this moment will hold. We collaborate to design a ceremony that honors your heritage while being uniquely yours and deeply meaningful.
Yes, I welcome LGBTQ+ couples and families. I specialize in creating meaningful spaces for those whose lives exist outside the traditional synagogue box.
Travel is free/included for wedding sites within up to THREE HOURS OF DRIVING from Olympia, WA. For longer distances (domestic or international), travel is available with individually quoted additional expenses, which must be agreed upon before booking.
