I have always been passionate about beauty! When clients ask me how long I have been doing this, my answer is: "I have about 15 years of experience doing makeup but 8 years doing makeup professionally". I started off initially doing makeup for friends and family, then family friends + friends of friends. I then got a job working at Sephora where I learned a lot about products and working w/ different skin types/tones, ages and styles of makeup etc for 7 years. In 2018 I decided to assist another bridal MUA and that is where I was introduced to the bridal/wedding world & I have loved it since! Booking 2026 and 2027 weddings now!

My main focus is you and doing exactly what it is you wish for your big day ! Im a perfectionist and really like to take my time in having you look your absolute best ! My clients always compliment my work ethic and tell me how easy I am to work with and get along with. I'm told often that I am very calming with a light touch and my clients often feel really relaxed while having their makeup done with me! I also am great with communication and try to always respond in a timely manner! If I had to put myself into a category style of makeup, my specialty would be soft glam, but even then I truly try to tailor the makeup to each individual.

I do not check Zola too often and I like to keep things organized and in one place for communication. For Friday- Sunday weddings during peak wedding months, I require a minimum of 4 services. I do not require a minimum amount of services for Monday-Thursday weddings. I will occasionally take less or bride only wedding days on the weekends so please still reach out if that is you and are interested in working with me!
I'm willing to travel just about anywhere my brides/clients request my makeup services. If it is farther than 2 hours from where I'm based and a very early morning start ( before 7am) I do require 1 night accommodations near place of getting ready. My travel fee is $1 per mile roundtrip from Benicia Ca. plus any toll fees, parking fees etc.
Most of my brides/wedding parties book anywhere from 3 months to 1 year in advance. My suggestion is once you've booked your date and you are within 9 months to a year from your date, reach out about booking. Saturday dates book quickly.
I do not currently offer bridal hairstyling.

    Excellent makeup artist

    Danica was my makeup artist for my wedding day. She used my inspo pictures and request to make me look exactly how I imagined on my wedding day. The makeup lasted my whole event.

    Book her immediately!!!

    Danica is an angel! I truly feel like I hit the jackpot with her. She is an incredibly sweet and peaceful person, and she exudes the best energy. Even better, she still made me feel like myself on my wedding day. Sometimes makeup can overwhelm me and I feel like a different person; she listened to my wants and absolutely made me feel and look amazing. I have never in all my life had my makeup done where I had no complaints— thank you, Danica. :) I can’t recommend her enough, and I would book her a thousand times over. P.S. It was also 100 degrees on my wedding day and I was profusely sweating and my makeup did not look any different by the end of the night!

    Danica is the best! From the very beginning, she was attentive, responsive, and so easy to work with. My trial at her studio was absolutely worth it and gave us the chance to perfect my wedding day look. On my big day, Danica absolutely nailed my bridal makeup and made my bridesmaids look and feel beautiful as well. As someone who rarely wears makeup, I was amazed at how confident and comfortable I felt. Her soft glam style was exactly what I wanted.     Danica did my makeup for my wedding day on 5/20, and it was the most amazing experience! She not only did my makeup, but my sister, my mother, and mother in law. All of us felt so beautiful and she gave us the natural, soft glam look we were all looking for. None of us wear a lot of makeup on a day-to-day basis, and we all felt very natural but still enough glam to pull through on photos. She double checked to make sure we loved everything and overall was so sweet and so kind. Danica took her time, she was thorough and knowledgeable on all the makeup products. She instantly made you feel comfortable, and was so easy to talk to! I absolutely loved working with her and can’t wait to work with her again in the future! I highly recommend her as your bridal makeup artist!
