Unprofessional and lack of communication

I had high hopes of working with JHM Beauty for my wedding day after seeing the beautiful work they did on other brides. However, their complete lack of communication made that impossible. I was never able to schedule a trial because they were inconsistent with responding to the point I knew she skimmed the message. The only time they consistently reached out was to collect payment, I have since reached out to cancel and receive a refund on my payment when she completely ghosted my fiancé and I and blocked me on social media. With their poor customer service, JHM Beauty ultimately did not contribute anything positive to our special day. I would not recommend this vendor to any future brides.

I had originally booked Julie for my wedding day but due to her lack of communication and professionalism I decided to cancel my services with her. I had my trial rescheduled. The rescheduled trial was also changed to a different time on the day of the trial. I was understanding of these changes but my experience following the trial ultimately made me choose a different artist. Julie had promised to send me the trial photos the next morning. I did not receive them. I sent her a message and received no response. She let me know that she was not responsive due to moving but this could have been communicated better. A simple message that she received my message and would respond would have been acceptable. Instead I was left un-read while she posted multiple stories. Lastly when I canceled my services with Julie, she let me know she would respond within a few days regarding over payment for services. She had requested I pay more than what was originally in our contract. It has been over a month since her message and I have not heard from her. Although I believe Julie can be capable of doing nice hair and makeup her communication and professionalism need improvement.

I was a nervous wreck on my wedding day. Julie chatted with me and made me feel comfortable. She did the make-up for 5 people in my wedding party, in addition to myself, all in one day! I loved my hair and make-up, and she walked me through it every step of the way, really listening to my wants. She even helped with covering up an uneven tan on my back. I still use the make-up she gave me from that day even one year later. Thank you Julie!

Julie was fantastic! She totally got my vision and made me look and feel amazing on my wedding day. She went above and beyond with her personal touches and was super professional, yet so easy to get along with. She really cared about me and my girls, making the whole experience fun and stress-free. If you want someone who knows their stuff and genuinely cares, Julie is your go-to. Highly recommend!
