Welcome. Beauty by Thao is a wedding makeup and hairstyling service based in San Jose, California. Thao, the founder of the company, is a certified makeup artist that strives to create natural makeup aesthetics for brides on their wedding day. Thao services couples in San Jose and throughout the Bay Area. Thao is a certified makeup artist who provides beautiful wedding-day looks for her clients. She received her training in makeup artistry from the Make-up Designory. She has been in the bridal makeup/hair industry for over 5 years.

Beauty by Thao offers clients the opportunity to schedule a consultation, as well as a hair and makeup trial. During these initial meetings, brides can discuss their preferred makeup aesthetic and desired hairstyle with Thao. For the convenience of her clients, Thao is willing to travel to the wedding venue on the day of the event in order to accommodate on-site services. She can provide beauty applications for both brides and their wedding party members. Thao can provide a variety of hairstyling services, such as blowouts, updos, and textured hair styling.     I hired Thao for my wedding day makeup. We did a trial a several months before and the whole experience was amazing. She was attentive and paid attention to everything I wanted. Furthermore, after the trial, I continued to send her email updates about what I wanted. She was always receptive and accommodating to what I wanted. On the day of, she made my makeup look flawless. All of my guests complimented me on how wonderful my makeup looked. Thao also did my bridal party's makeup. They all looked beautiful as well. I highly recommend Thao!

    We were so lucky to have found Thao as hair/makeup artist for our big day. From the moment I reached out to her, she was very responsive, thorough and professional. My biggest concern was not looking/feeling myself since I don't wear a lot of makeup. She took the time to listen and worked with me to understand my vision and make my makeup/hair vision come true. During the trial, she checked with me every step of the way to make sure I feel comfortable. Thao and her team were able to finish makeup and hair for myself, the moms, and 7 other bridesmaids on time. My makeup and hair came out beautiful, just how imagined myself as a bride, natural and just myself. She was wonderful from start to finish. Her professionalism and warm personality definitely showed during the makeup application process which made my big day that much more special.
