    Monina made my wedding hair PERFECT. It was exactly as I hoped, and everyone complimented me on how amazing it looked. She was delightful to work with! I highly recommend taking advantage of the facials or massages you can book with her before the wedding. This gave us a chance to get to know each other more before the wedding day, so it felt like having an old friend come to help on the day. Definitely recommend her services!

    I needed a make up artist for my wedding. Monina and Yulissa to to rescue! I spoke with Monina (owner of Moderne Beauty) who asked all the right questions to help me figure out what I wanted. I went to her studio in Willow Glen where I met Yulissa, the make up artist/magician for a trial run. By the way, you may be looking to save money somewhere, but do not skip the trial run. The trial run was great! It gave both Yulissa and I the opportunity to see shades, shadows, tones etc. and from there we could see what worked and what worked even better. If I ever find the need for a makeup artist again, I have only one call to make - Moderne Beauty!

    Moderne Beauty did the hair and make-up for my wedding. I am pretty picky about my hair and makeup, and donโ€™t generally like the way I look when made up. However, I truly loved the look Michelle created for me. She took my inspiration photos and made them work for me. I wanted a soft, romantic look and she delivered. I felt glamorous but still able to recognize myself in the mirror! She is so talented and would absolutely work with her again. Monina was great to work with, and I enjoyed coming to the studio and had two amazing facials. She also helped coordinate everything on the day-of, and I could not believe how efficient the staff was while still being great at their jobs! They finished 8 ladies in 4 hours, and I think everyone looked beautiful. We did not feel rushed, and had time to enjoy ourselves. My hair and makeup still looked great 12 hours later! I would definitely recommend Moderne Beauty!
