Dance Fever Studio has taught wedding couples in Newton, MA for over 20 years. We specialize in first dance choreography: private, one-on-one lessons built around your song, comfort level, and timeline. We also teach parent dances and full reception choreography.

We build every first dance around you: your song, height difference, comfort being watched, and however much time you have. Private lessons, no group pace. We work around wedding logistics like late song changes or out-of-town partners. Winner, Top Junior Studio, 2026 Yankee Classic.

Ten private lessons give you time to learn a complete, polished routine, add personal touches, and rehearse until it feels natural. Great for couples doing a longer or more elaborate number, or working in an additional dance like a parent dance. Includes a consultation to plan your songs and choreography.

    Book Them!!

    Our experience at Dance Fever was truly FIVE STARS!! What an incredible family run business, that makes each wedding couple feel like a part of the family! We took lessons here to learn our first dance for our August, 2026 wedding. Our instructor, Karolina, listened to all of our input and allowed us to create a dance that felt like us. We learned new choreography but it never felt forced, always fun. Our dance was so perfect and truly wowed our wedding guests! We had so much fun practicing during our three sessions and at home in our kitchen! I enjoyed it so much, I even went back for a father-daughter lesson with my dad. If you are looking for wedding lessons, look no further than Dance Fever. They are welcoming, accommodating, and build your confidence. I had no previous dance experience, and Dance Fever made me feel like a super star on my wedding day! I love them!

    Great Experience at Dance Fever

    We had a blast and learned so much working with Annie at Dance Fever! She put my dad (who is not a dancer) completely at ease and we learned a great routine that we both enjoyed! It was a special moment to have with my dad and Annie was instrumental in making it happen. She also came up with a completely different dance/song for my husband and I which was a real highlight of the reception. We had a wonderful and easy experience booking, scheduling, and working with everyone at Dance Fever but especially loved Annie's enthusiasm, professionalism, and humor. She made those lessons a fun hour that everyone looked forward to.

    Highly recommend!! We used Allen at Dance Fever for our first dance for our wedding. The team and Allen were so welcoming and amazing! We came with no ballroom experience and wanted something very specific for the second half of our dance. Allen worked with our skill levels and always encouraged us. We highly recommend using them for your wedding!!!

For your first lesson, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes you can move in. For your second lesson, please bring your wedding day shoes so we can practice in what you'll actually be wearing
