Dance Fever Studio has taught wedding couples in Newton, MA for over 20 years. We specialize in first dance choreography: private, one-on-one lessons built around your song, comfort level, and timeline. We also teach parent dances and full reception choreography.

We build every first dance around you: your song, height difference, comfort being watched, and however much time you have. Private lessons, no group pace. We work around wedding logistics like late song changes or out-of-town partners. Winner, Top Junior Studio, 2026 Yankee Classic.

Our most comprehensive package for couples who want to fully own their first dance. Ten private lessons give you time to learn a complete, polished routine, add personal touches, and rehearse until it feels natural. Great for couples doing a longer or more elaborate number, or working in an additional dance like a parent dance. Includes a consultation to plan your songs and choreography.

Description

Five private lessons for couples who want a solid, well-rehearsed first dance without a huge time commitment. Enough time to learn a full routine, get comfortable with the music, and refine your favorite moments. Includes a consultation to plan your song and choreography.

    Great Experience at Dance Fever

    We had a blast and learned so much working with Annie at Dance Fever! She put my dad (who is not a dancer) completely at ease and we learned a great routine that we both enjoyed! It was a special moment to have with my dad and Annie was instrumental in making it happen. She also came up with a completely different dance/song for my husband and I which was a real highlight of the reception. We had a wonderful and easy experience booking, scheduling, and working with everyone at Dance Fever but especially loved Annie's enthusiasm, professionalism, and humor. She made those lessons a fun hour that everyone looked forward to.

    Highly recommend!! We used Allen at Dance Fever for our first dance for our wedding. The team and Allen were so welcoming and amazing! We came with no ballroom experience and wanted something very specific for the second half of our dance. Allen worked with our skill levels and always encouraged us. We highly recommend using them for your wedding!!!

    This is my 6th year taking classes at the studio. I came with no prior knowledge but a desire to learn “everything”. Thanks to the wonderful Dance Fever instructors, I now feel very comfortable at any social dance party and can dance most of the dances confidently. My learning process has been a pleasure with Dance Fever due to their utmost professionalism, respectful and friendly manner, fun and engaging classes. Highly recommended for both beginners and advanced dancers.
