Marion's days as a toddler were her first in the kitchen, climbing to the countertop for culinary teachings from her grandmother Mamie Brougitte. Those lessons remain the main ingredient in what has turned into a married world of baking and art. Raised by artist parents in multicultural surroundings, Marion pulls her deepest inspiration from her roots. Whether that be the intricacies of delicate handmade French lace from her summers in France, to the bold Brazilian tiles of historic towns in Bahia where her father lived. Or even the refusal to use nothing but the best handmade ingredients from local produce makers.

Yes! We offer a selection of four mini cakes with flavor combination of your choice. This can be shipped with a complimentary design meeting virtually or in person. We ask for a $50 fee which will be subtracted from your final quote should you decide to move forward with our services.
Sugar flowers are handmade flowers made from a a sugar dough called gumpaste. When it dries is becomes hard and serves as an everlasting keepsake for you. We provide special packaging and instructions on how to transport and care for your special blooms.
Our quotes are all inclusive- taster meeting, design, cake, delivery and set up. After your event if you would like us to mount your flowers into a glass dome this may be arranged for an additional fee.
We make our own butter, buttermilk and vanilla extract. We source as many fresh ingredients from local farms in the Berkshires, MA where the cakes are made.. Produce such as eggs, chocolate, coffee, cream, organic vegetable and fruit from places such as North Plain Farms, High Lawn Farms, Six Depot, etc.
This depends completely on the design and will be discussed during your consultation. Due to the fact that we make highly decorated cakes often times we do drape the cakes in fondant. We use a very thin layer which also has the added benefit locking in the moisture. Alternatively we can make a beautiful decorated dummy for display and make the slices in a sheet cake for serving.
There are a couple of options: - we can make a smaller version of your dream cake and supplement the remaining slices in a sheet cake -design may be downsized to lower costs. We always try to work with our customers to cater for all types of budgets.
%80 of our orders are not local and we deliver all over the country. We ship our taster boxes and sugar flowers.
After your taster/design meeting, Marion will draw up a cake sketch proposal. This drawing may be altered as many times as needed until we have achieved your dream cake.
We require a %50 deposit to confirm your order and ask for the remaining payment two weeks prior to your event.
As soon as your know the date of your event and/or have booked your venue.
