My name is Michelle Cardillo and I am a self taught baker with a background in government. I moved here from the North Shore of Boston almost 7 years ago. My, then boyfriend, now husband convinced me to move back home with him to this place I honestly never heard of before, The Berkshires. With not a lot of need for a former lobbyist out here I quickly shifted my after work hobby into ShellyCakes.

With a crazy amount of support from my family, friends, and this beautiful Berkshires community I have my desserts in local restaurants, have done several weddings, and I’m constantly blown away by the amount of people who reach out to me for all their dessert needs. Highly recommend
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with ShellyCakes for our destination wedding. Shelly was responsive and kind throughout our entire planning process, making it easy to work with her even though we were coordinating from out of state. She went above and beyond by letting us ship our cake cutting tools and topper directly to her, which was such a relief during our travel. The cake itself was exactly what we had envisioned and tasted incredible. From start to finish, Shelly's professionalism and willingness to help made our special day even more special. We highly recommend ShellyCakes to any couple looking for a dessert vendor they can truly trust.
