Howdy Homemade Ice Cream was founded in Katy, TX, and a local Kansas City nonprofit, TNC Community, recently opened Missouri's first Howdy Homemade Ice Cream in Lee's Summit. With 16 rotating homemade ice cream flavors, it is our vision to bring the joy of amazing ice cream to the heart of our community by employing remarkable individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, whom we call our Heroes.

When you book with Howdy Homemade, you are signing up for more than amazing ice cream; you are supporting inclusive employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. We believe everyone has something special to offer, and we're on a mission to make sure the world sees it too.

    Everyone Loved It!

    We had Howdy Homemade Ice Cream at our wedding, and it was such a treat. The team was responsive and thorough throughout the entire process. What really impressed us was their sweet mission of supporting people with disabilities. The pre-scooped cups were convenient for our guests, and the homemade ice cream was delicious. Everyone loved having this option at the end of the night, and we loved supporting a business with real values. We'd definitely recommend them to other couples looking for a dessert that tastes good and does good.

    Cute spots to grab ice cream after dinner! Dozens of flavors and takeout pints as well! I had the mango sorbet, and my guests had a mint, the cold brew and cookie, and The candy bar in a waffle cup! Everybody was very happy with what they got! They also have fun color changing spoons for the kids! It helps support the TNC community.

    First time here and loved it! Great staff, delicious ice cream flavors and fun ice cream names too. I loved the atmosphere and what they stand for! Bonus: they did great with Halloween decor too!

Our ice cream servings come pre-scooped and packaged, so we recommend ordering one scoop per guest.
