We are fully licensed and insured, with experienced bartenders and flexible staffing options including servers and event support staff. Choose from a variety of bar styles, rentals, and curated cocktail experiences designed around your venue, aesthetic, and celebration.

    Wedding Dream Team

    Hiring Behind the Bar for our wedding was truly one of the best decisions I made throughout the entire planning process. They alleviated so much stress for me and took care of so many details that I honestly didn’t have to think or worry about when it came to the bar. From the very beginning, they were amazing to work with, communication was always great, and they went above and beyond, including bringing beautiful decorations for the bar and making sure everything looked perfect. The cocktails were AMAZING and truly felt like bar-level quality, not your typical event drinks. We received so many compliments from our family and friends about how much they loved the bartenders, their energy and vibes, and of course the drinks! They were such a fun and memorable part of our wedding. I genuinely cannot wait until we have another event where we need bartending services so I can hire them again. I would recommend them 1000% to anyone looking for an incredible bartending team!

    Best vendor in my wedding

    Behind The Bar was without a doubt the best vendor at our wedding. We had a venue where we had to source everything ourselves, which gets overwhelming fast. Working with a team that is so experienced and self-sufficient was an absolute lifesaver.They bring such a calm, reassuring energy, but they absolute deliver on event day. The tasting was super fun, and our guests gave us so many compliments on the bar service. They are flexible, reliable, and you can tell they put so much love into their work. 10/10!

    If I could give 10 stars, I would

    I truly can’t even begin to explain the top-notch service this team provided. From start to finish, they went above and beyond to make everything feel special. They didn’t just show up to bartend they decorated the bar beautifully and created a setup that perfectly fit the vibe of the night. Every drink they served was curated with so much care and creativity. When I say everyone loved the drinks, I mean EVERYONE was raving about them all night long. They crafted their own syrups and made an apple-butter old fashioned that I still dream about to this day. On top of that, they were genuinely some of the sweetest, most thoughtful people we worked with. They were kind, professional, and made every guest feel taken care of. We received so many compliments about them afterward, and it’s easy to see why. Their attention to detail, warm energy, and incredible drinks made such a lasting impression. I can’t recommend them enough! Any bride would be lucky to partner with them.

    I cannot say enough amazing things about Behind the Bar! From start to finish, they made our day absolutely seamless.     AMAZING BAR SERVICE

We serve all five boroughs in NYC, Long Island, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania as well as Upstate New York
Yes, we offer tastings for you and a guest when you sign a contract with us.
Yes, our event minimum is 40ppl for all weddings.
For summer, spring and fall weddings, we recommend at least 6 months in advance.
We recommend meeting 2 more times after your tasting. One meeting will focus on finalizing menus and headcount. One to go over final venue and wedding logistics.
We are full service. We will take you on a walk-through of available rentals and work with you to find options within your budget.
We are a dry hire, meaning we provide everything except alcohol. However, in certain circumstances we can access one day permits for your special event.
