    Absolutely incredible!

    Micaela is incredibly talented on the violin! Her music was absolutely beautiful and added such a special, emotional touch to my wedding ceremony. Live violin created an unforgettable atmosphere, and Micaela was truly the perfect person to bring it to life.

    Awesome Performer

    Shirley's Strings was the perfect choice for our wedding musician. From the very first call, her communication was extremely easy and she was very responsive to all of our questions and requests. On the day of the wedding, her performance was polished and professional, creating the perfect atmosphere for our wedding. She was even willing to learn a very specific song that was very important to us, going above and beyond to make our day special.     Hiring Micaela was hands-down one of the highlights of our wedding day. The music created such a romantic and intimate atmosphere — it honestly felt like something out of a movie. Not only is she incredibly talented, but also kind, organized, and accommodating with our song requests. The live performance elevated the entire ceremony and made it feel so meaningful. Generally I wear black as to not detract from the music; however, if you have a certain request I am happy to work with you.
Yes! My number one goal is to customize the music to fit your style and event. Depending on the song, there may be an additional charge. We will definitely discuss this before signing a contract.
In order to ensure the most high quality performance for your event, I do not take music requests during the event. I put many hours into making sure the music is practiced, and perfected for you specifically. If you would like to add additional songs before the event, I request that you let me know at least two weeks before the event.
In order to have a stress free day for all involved, I arrive at the event at least an hour before the start time. If you would like more time than this, let me know, and we can make something work. I want you to feel comfortable!
