New Era Live

New Era Live specializes in providing premium entertainment including disc jockeys, musicians, and vocalists. Kamau McCray began his education by attending broadcasting school in Baltimore, Maryland. After graduating from broadcasting school Kamau McCray worked for several national media organizations such as Radio One, CBS Radio, Great Scott Broadcasting, JKC Communications, and a host of other media entities. Working for these organizations gave him a vast knowledge of operations in the entertainment industry, extensive experience in event planning, and insight regarding what industry pitfalls to avoid.

While at Radio One, Kamau acquired valuable insight and contacts in the radio, recording, and media industries. After utilizing the contacts acquired through Radio One, Kamau began promoting recording artists for major record labels here in the Baltimore metropolitan area. His duties included promoting artists’ singles for radio exposure, taking conference calls with regional record company executives, and creating itineraries for artists in town promotional tours. New Era Live also took a hands-on approach in planning album release parties for artists such as Jay-Z, LL Cool J, Teena Marie, Sisqo, and many more!
