Q: Do you learn new songs?

Yes! We have an in house arranger, so if we don't have something already in our massive library of music, we can probably arrange a great version for our group. Currently, we have around 800 unique songs in our catalogue, everything from: -Traditional Classical/Baroque/Renaissance -Jazz, Bossa Nova, Flamenco, Tango -Pop Covers, everything from Elvis to the Beatles, Christina Perri to Metallica -Broadway Showtunes -Movie, Television, and Video Game Soundtrack music -Holiday music selections -Religious and Spiritual

Q: Do you provide music for wedding ceremonies or cocktail receptions?

Both! We are traditionally hired for the prelude and ceremony of a wedding, then stay over for cocktail hour to entertain guests while you're off snapping pics. We can also stay during lunch/dinner and for first dances.

Q: Do you know religious music for traditional weddings?

Yes! We have had the pleasure of performing at weddings for many religions, both at places of worship and in other venues. We have a wide range of music available, including traditional spiritual melodies, church based music, Jewish traditional melodies, and much more. We are happy to work with you to learn new music if we do not currently have it in our library.

Hi! Welcome to the Zola home of the Left Coast Quintet, or LCQ for short. We are the "go-to" ensemble for amazing live music in San Diego & Southern CA. Since 2014, we've had the opportunity to attend many public events, private parties, & weddings. LCQ is a fun, classy, & unique group with an wide variety of music at our fingertips, everything from classical, movie themes & film scores, jazz, Broadway, pop covers, & more. We look forward to chatting with you about how we can bring an amazing soundtrack to your celebration! Our primary ensemble is our wind quintet, we also offer a wind trio and wind duet depending on size, budget, & location.

Most people hire a string quartet for their wedding, and have no idea how special and incredible our wind ensemble sounds. We envelope your guests with music, heightening the feelings and emotions of the day. Many of our couples seek out the unique arrangements of music in our library, especially the hundreds of movie themes, everything from Beauty and the Beast to Harry Potter, Indians Jones to Marry Poppins. We put smiles on everyone's faces and really love performing for your guests.

We will work together to customize the soundtrack to your celebrations, and will pick out music for your prelude/guest arrival, for the ceremony processional and recessional, and any music requests you have mid-ceremony if requested. Option to bring a wireless, battery-powered speaker system for your officiant/vows is included.

As an officiant, I get to work with lots of musicians and DJs and hear lots of options for pre-ceremony (and post-ceremony) music. I am always so happy when I see that my couples have chosen Left Coast Quintet. I know that the music will be great and be beautifully played, with some fun music selections mixed in along the way, and they will be true professionals as well. You won't go wrong with this choice for your ceremony music (and for cocktail hour too!)!
