Welcome to Left Coast Quintet! Since 2014, LCQ has brought fun, classy, and unforgettable live music to weddings throughout San Diego and Southern California. We specialize in ceremony and cocktail hour music, from welcoming guests and accompanying your walk down the aisle to celebrating your first moments as newlyweds. Our huge repertoire includes classical favorites, movie and TV themes, Broadway, jazz, pop, Disney, video games, and more. Our signature wind quintet is a fresh alternative to the traditional string quartet, with trio and duet options available too. We’ll work with you to personalize your ceremony, choose music you love, and create the perfect live soundtrack for your wedding day!

A wind quintet brings something truly special to a wedding. Our five distinct instruments create a rich, colorful sound that surrounds your guests and brings even more emotion to the moments that matter. Couples especially love our enormous library of unique arrangements, including hundreds of movie, Disney, Broadway, pop, and video game favorites, from Beauty and the Beast and Mary Poppins to Harry Potter and Indiana Jones. One hour of live music from our premier ensemble, with five professional musicians. We will work together to customize the soundtrack to your celebrations, and will pick out music for your prelude/guest arrival, for the ceremony processional and recessional, and any music requests you have mid-ceremony if requested.

    AMAZING Quintet that played for our wedding!

    We had the Left Coast Quintet play at our wedding in August at the Tower Beach Club on mission bay and they were amazing!! They brought such a fun and elegant vibe to our wedding. My husband loves movies and we both love Disney. They were able to create a playlist of popular songs, movie scores, and Disney magic! Dan was super communicative and so easy to work with. They played on the grass for our ceremony and moved to the deck of our reception site and created a beautiful transition from our ceremony to cocktail hour! We loved having them play at our wedding and huge highlight that our guests can’t stop commenting on!

    Choose them for your ceremony music!

    As an officiant, I get to work with lots of musicians and DJs and hear lots of options for pre-ceremony (and post-ceremony) music. I am always so happy when I see that my couples have chosen Left Coast Quintet. I know that the music will be great and be beautifully played, with some fun music selections mixed in along the way, and they will be true professionals as well. You won't go wrong with this choice for your ceremony music (and for cocktail hour too!)!

Yes! We have an in house arranger, so if we don't have something already in our massive library of music, we can probably arrange a great version for our group. Currently, we have around 800 unique songs in our catalogue, everything from: -Traditional Classical/Baroque/Renaissance -Jazz, Bossa Nova, Flamenco, Tango -Pop Covers, everything from Elvis to the Beatles, Christina Perri to Metallica -Broadway Showtunes -Movie, Television, and Video Game Soundtrack music -Holiday music selections -Religious and Spiritual
Both! We are traditionally hired for the prelude and ceremony of a wedding, then stay over for cocktail hour to entertain guests while you're off snapping pics. We can also stay during lunch/dinner and for first dances.

Yes! We have had the pleasure of performing at weddings for many religions, both at places of worship and in other venues. We have a wide range of music available, including traditional spiritual melodies, church based music, Jewish traditional melodies, and much more. We are happy to work with you to learn new music if we do not currently have it in our library.
