About DJUj Mobile Music Entertainment

Hi, I am DJ James. I have 20 years of DJ experience, including hundreds of weddings and other gatherings. I utilize all the latest MP3 and Lighting technology that will make your next event a big success! My main mission is to provide ultra low cost DJ & Lighting services in combination with ultra high production value to all off my clients. Many DJ's and DJ companies nickel and dime their potential clients to no end and then have the audacity to provide sub-par performance and use outdated or just plain cheap equipment. Not so with DJUj. All my equipment is updated and I always use state of the art equipment.....Yorkville, Shure, Mackie, JBL, QSC, Sony, employing backup components. There is never a charge for set up/break down, and I do welcome all of my clients to see me live if they would like. This is something many DJ's & DJ companies will not do as they do not know who they are going to send out. You always get me and only me.

    The only choice for a Chicago wedding DJ!!

    Jimmy was absolutely phenomenal! He was such a good MC and had a great mix of music for the reception! He was extremely communicative and his website for his clients is extremely user-friendly and helps you think of things you didn’t even know you should think about when it comes to music for a wedding! I would definitely recommend using him. I cannot say enough amazing things about him. He is absolutely the best!!

    James is the BEST!!!

    We had the absolute best experience with James as our wedding DJ! From the beginning James was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative, which made the planning process feel easy and stress-free. His online interface was also super user-friendly and made adding timeline details and Spotify playlists simple. On the wedding day, James was professional, attentive, and kept everything running seamlessly. He checked in with us throughout the night, coordinated wonderfully with our other vendors, and truly helped keep the flow of the day on track without us having to worry about a thing. He also was able to read the room and played the best songs all night long to keep the dance floor busy! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend James to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

    Hire DJUj! Best Wedding DJ out there!

    Our wedding on July 29, 2023 was a blast, thanks to DJ James! He was not only a great DJ who played awesome music, but also a great MC who kept the reception running smoothly and was super fun in the process. He played jazz at a good volume during dinner and then used high energy dance music from across the decades to keep everyone on the dance floor. He was very professional, responsive, and flexible. It was so easy to work with his music selection process, and he also worked well with our other vendors to make sure everything was on track.     Amazing Job

    James was amazing. My husband and I wanted to have the perfect blend of nerdiness and class, and James helped us pull it off. We didn't get him much direction other than our special dances and play instrumental music during dinner, and he independently played instrumental game music for us. It was absolutely perfect. When the dances start, he played the perfect songs to keep everyone on the floor. It was a wonderful experience working with him.
