“Maidenwood was the absolute BEST venue we could have ever dreamed of for our wedding. Where to even begin!? Steve, Jana, and the rest of the crew are just the nicest people you will ever meet, and they made the entire process so easy from the first info call to the last song. We felt assured we were in good hands the entire time, and the confidence continued throughout the day as they seamlessly followed the timeline and made sure everything was exactly what we had planned. In addition to the amazing people, the property and buildings are truly breathtaking. It’s the perfect blend of outdoorsy, elegant, adventurous, modern, and cozy. It’s clear how much thought and effort they have put in to already create an amazing backdrop that we didn’t feel stressed with decorating at all. Every space speaks for itself and emphasizes the beautiful nature that is all around. With that, we really appreciated the freedom to make the spaces our own and include unique elements that felt true to who we are as a couple. We got to be creative with vendors, photo spots, ceremony locations, getting ready, and other optional amenities that contributed to it feeling like our own property for the day! We also highly recommend Steve’s business Trustworthy Music for a DJ. Steve added so much energy and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire time. We also highly recommend Jana for a day of coordinator. She is so knowledgeable, a blast to work with, and went above and beyond checking on us and our guests throughout the wedding. We truly could go on and on about how grateful we are to have found Maidenwood for our day (and have been for the past 3 weeks!). Thank you for everything!! - Lauren & Kevin”

“The 3Ten was an absolutely perfect venue for our wedding. The venue itself is beautiful and didn’t require a ton of additional decor on our part (which we loved). The exposed brick, the chandeliers, the bar, and marquee signs were a few of our favorite elements! It also was a really affordable option not too far from the cities. The real star of the show though was our Day of Coordinator, Tina. From our first open house she was with us every step of the way answering all of our questions, big or small. She was prompt, kind, flexible, and most of all CHILL. Wedding planning can be stressful and Tina always gave us a strong “we got this” energy in the best way. She helped bring our vision to life and we did not worry once on the day of since she was in charge! We’d highly recommend 3Ten and investing in a day of coordinator like Tina!”

“We had our wedding here and overall had a beautiful experience! The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous and really speaks for itself—you truly don’t need to do much decorating to make it feel special. There are beautiful outdoor spaces, plenty of room for guests, and so many great spots for photos. We loved having so many options for both our wedding party and couple portraits. The downstairs getting-ready area is also very spacious, which was a huge plus for our wedding party. One thing to note is that the bridal suite only had a refrigerator, while the groom’s suite did not have one. For food, we ended up choosing the pasta bar. It was good and worked well for our guests, although it wasn’t necessarily the standout part of the meal. We originally considered the beef and chicken options, but after our tastings, we weren’t as impressed with those options and ultimately felt the pasta bar was the better choice for us. One of the biggest conveniences is that the venue can provide a large majority of what you need, which made planning easier. However, I would recommend comparing prices and asking questions about what is included, as some of the add-ons can be quite expensive. We also experienced some confusion throughout the planning process about what was and wasn’t included/provided for certain items. We worked with three different wedding coordinators during the process, so I think some of that may have been due to the coordinator transitions rather than the venue itself. That said, having everything clearly outlined in writing would have made the planning process much easier. We also want to give a huge shoutout to DJ Rick! He was fantastic to work with, very accommodating to some of the fun little requests we had, and did an amazing job keeping the energy up throughout the night. He kept our dance floor going and was a definite highlight of the reception! One other thing we would recommend to future couples is taking the website information with a grain of salt. The venue has changed and updated quite a bit, and we noticed that some of the photos and tour information online were outdated. The venue is even more beautiful in person, but the outdated information did make it a little confusing when trying to plan our décor and envision the space. Overall, we absolutely loved our wedding day and are so happy we chose this venue. There are a few things we would recommend future couples ask about and clarify during the planning process, but the beauty of the venue, the space, the photo opportunities, and the overall experience made it a wonderful place to celebrate our wedding. We would definitely recommend taking a tour and seeing it in person!”

“Goodtree Farmstead was the perfect setting for our wedding, and Jen's team made the entire experience stress-free from start to finish. Their communication was on point throughout the planning process they answered every question quickly and gave us the details we needed to feel confident about our big day. We had a squirrel incident at rehearsal that knocked out power to part of the venue, but they handled it without us having to lift a finger and everything was fixed before our ceremony. Behind the scenes, Jen and her team managed so much that we never had to worry about anything. The rustic beauty of the space combined with their original touches made our day feel truly special. We can't thank them enough for making our wedding day run so smoothly.”

“The Monterey Ballroom was an absolute dream for our wedding! From the moment we first inquired, their communication was fast, open, and incredibly helpful. The venue itself is gorgeous, with both indoor and outdoor spaces that provided the perfect setting for our special day. What really made them stand out though was their incredible attention to detail - they helped us decorate the space beautifully, and even gifted us mimosa supplies for the morning of the wedding! The owner, Mike, was amazing and made sure everything went so smoothly. We also loved that they had outdoor games for our guests to enjoy. The value was fantastic, and we couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue. We highly recommend the Monterey Ballroom to any couple looking to get married!”

The venue itself is absolutely stunning with soaring ceilings and windows that flood the space with light, and we loved every second on the outdoor patio and ceremony area. They went above and beyond to make our day special—from the waterfall ceremony space to golf cart rides that took us to scenic spots for photos. “We had the absolute pleasure of getting married at Forestville Vines Winery. We had a shorter timeline for our wedding (about 6-7 months!) and Mark and the team helped us achieve everything we wanted. We had never been to the winery before and toured in the winter while it was covered in snow, but the tour was so informative we had faith in the people and booked a couple days later! Budget-wise, Forestville was very affordable, and the big reason we chose it over other venues was the price and the ability to really DIY a lot of aspects (like table cloths, settings, etc). This is exactly the venue for you if you're someone who wants to have a heavier creative hand in the process. During our planning process, we would frequently reach out to Mark with questions (are real candles okay, can we move stuff, etc), and Mark was always quick to answer. We toured the venue again in May a couple months before our own wedding, and got to see the venue in all of its beauty. The team treated us wonderfully and seemed just as excited as us about our wedding. They were so accommodating throughout the entire process, and helped everything go so smoothly. Day-of went great, and we loved having pizza at the wedding. Super thankful to Mark and the team for giving us a absolutely beautiful place to get married!”

“We had a lovely day at this beautiful setting!! We had over 100 people. We played games in the huge yard; we sat and enjoyed a warm fire in the pit; we danced in the old barn!! I loved it!! Lots of space for kids. I loved all the buildings and how they look like farm buildings-the quaintness, the feel of another era, and yet they were clean and cozy. I loved the walks between the buildings with gorgeous paths, and benches and chairs along the way that invited you to come and stay awhile!! I wanted to stay!! Thanks for sharing your property with us!!”

In 1910, President Taft signed the bill to establish Glacier National Park as the country’s 10th national park. Mr. Healy was given a plumbing contractor for the train depot here in St. Paul, where he met Samuel Bartlett, the architect of many of the railroad depots and Glacier National Park Lodge. Healy then commissioned Bartlett to renovate and enlarge the house. In 1914, the farm was sold to John Healy, the owner of Healy Plumbing and Heating Company of St. Paul. Mr. Healy’s company became closely tied to the Great Northern Railroad, as it provided the heating and plumbing for many of the train depots that were being built around the country at that time. The farm was named Hope Glen Farm, the name of John Healy’s mother’s maiden name of Hope, and the house settles in a Glen, thus Hope Glen.

“Our wedding at Hope Glen was absolutely beautiful. Michael and Paula have done a wonderful job making the property look nice and have great staff. The treehouse was amazing to be able to stay in the night of and we will absolutely be going back sometime. The only thing that came up was the girl who did our morning orientation did a very poor job. She was young and didn't really seem to know what she was talking about, and left us with little to no helpful information day of. There were a few things, such as the hanging basket that she wouldn't have even told us how to do if we didn't ask, which isn't helpful because we don't know the venue like she does. Ultimately, I would absolutely go back if I could! I look forward to reliving the memories everytime I drive by!!”

“11/10 RECOMMEND. We had the absolute best experience we could have imagined for our August wedding at the Madison. From the very start, our interactions with Brad and Louise felt so special and different. They wanted to know us as people, shared in our excitement and we felt completely taken care of from day one. Brad and Louise were always responsive, open to new ideas and helped us to curate the absolute best experience we could have imagined for our day. I truly cannot recommend this venue/these people enough. As for the venue, the natural and historic beauty of the space speaks for itself. We loved all of the natural wood and the historic feel of the barn while also enjoying upgraded spaces including the Bride and Groom suites. These spaces were full of natural light for photos, all of the amenities we needed and were such a perfect way to start out our day. I will always have precious memories inside of that bridal suite with my favorite people surrounding me. We chose to get married on the back patio which is an absolutely incredible space that we fell in love with immediately. The flowers and greenery outdoors were blooming and made for absolutely stunning photos without us adding additional florals. Brad & Louise’s meticulous care of the property was apparent at every turn from landscaping to décor and more. Brad even built a sweetheart table for two made from historic wood that we were able to use as our head table. Who does that?! They do. Brad and Louise were both present on the day of the wedding and helped to us to make sure everything went smoothly. August in MN can get hot and our day was no exception but the barn stayed plenty cool and was comfortable for our guests to enjoy dancing all night. We didn’t make use of the second story for dinner but we did set up a photo booth and second bar upstairs which allowed guests to step away from the busy dance floor and take in precious moments from above. I could go on and on about the day and the space and just how happy we were with how it all came together. If you are considering this venue—book it. You'll be glad you did.”
