“Let me start by saying this: I hate getting my makeup done. I rarely wear a full face, so every time I sit in a makeup chair I panic a little that it’s going to be too heavy or that I won’t look like myself. I also have terrible skin and can be really self-conscious about it, so the whole experience usually stresses me out.
Jessie listened, kept all of my worries in mind, and she somehow made me look like the best version of myself- enhanced, but still me. I got so many compliments on my eye color (she brought out the green!), and my lashes stayed on, even while taking photos in 30mph winds on the Asbury Park boardwalk. Seriously! She made my skin look flawless without feeling cakey, and I felt genuinely beautiful all day and into the night. I literally sobbed during some parts of the ceremony, and you’d never even know it.
Jessie and the secondary artist she brought with her were just overall amazing and fun to be around. They had us comfortable, laughing, and relaxed the entire morning, which is exactly what I hoped for on my wedding day.
