To be perfectly honest, I love what I do. I'm damn good at it. I have dabbled in all sorts of jobs but I kept coming back to the camera. It feels really good to take the craft that I love so much and share it. The scope of my photography is wide but I specialize in weddings and elopements. I've been photographing weddings since 2005. I believe in vibing well with your photographer because let's be honest, your photographer will be up close and personal with you throughout your big day so it's important to choose someone whose energy you enjoy and mesh well with. Having a phone or zoom chat or meeting in person is a good move!

I have had the pleasure of working with Autumn on many weddings and events throughout the last few years and I would recommend her over and over again! I have seen her in action from a Venue perspective, a Planner perspective, and even a Bridesmaid perspective! Each of which was amazing. Autumn is the perfect balance of fun and "get the job done." She makes couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, snaps all of the right photos, and has a bright personality to make the day even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a great Photographer and all-around person, she's the gal for your day!

We loved working with the team at HGI Redmond for our wedding welcome party and farewell brunch. April was incredible to work with from day one - she helped us organize two events in two different spaces that both exceeded our expectations in every way. The welcome party was in the HGI's banquet event space, which is an indoor/outdoor space that includes a patio with fireplaces and heaters. We used the indoor space for dinner, and the outdoor space for drinks and pictures. The patio was the star of the show since it was a nice summer evening. They also have an AV setup for you to play music, a projector for slideshows, and microphones for speeches. Elliott, the event manager, did an incredible job wrangling all of the event needs and making sure everything ran smoothly, and some of the event staff even helped us iron the table linens and bring our floral centerpieces back up to our hotel room after the event. The farewell brunch was in the downstairs library area, which was such a cute and cozy space for our guests to say goodbye in. Both events had excellent food - the HGI's in-house catering was amazing, they were able to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions (vegan, gluten free), and were extremely flexible in handling all our requests and needs. Overall, the staff, food, and event spaces were all amazing and we're so glad we went with HGI Redmond for our wedding events!

  • Planner

Hi. My name is Eva, great to meet you! Thinking of trusting me with planning your event? Here is a little about me. I am a Vashon Island native, former Chicago dweller and currently live with my husband and two wild boys in West Seattle. I have 10 years of experience of planning + managing gatherings for as little as 20 and as many as 500. From intimate benefactor dinners to elegant fundraisers to festive and modern weddings, I have been involved in just about every aspect of an event that you can think of.

We hired Eva as our partial wedding planner about a year out from our date. We had the venue booked (actually found Eva through our venue!) but she helped us sort out the rest of our vendors. We had a couple of calls to get to know each other, for her to learn our style and what we were looking for. Then Eva gave us a month by month task list to break down the overwhelming-ness of planning a wedding into manageable chunks. She researched vendors, reached out on behalf when requested, and sent us reminders to kept the process moving. Leading up to the wedding she joined calls with the DJ and caterer to make sure we were all on the same page and directed all our vendors on where they needed to be when. Each call I just felt so thankful we had someone to make sure nothing fell through the cracks. The day of our wedding went so incredibly smoothly and Eva did an amazing job. I didn't even see the venue until I was walking down the aisle and got to have a peaceful, fun day because Eva took care of everything. I 100% recommend her!

Groove Kitchen

Ed Mays Groove Kitchen is a red hot Seattle based dance band made up of some of the Pacific Northwest’s finest entertainers. We specialize in classic R&B in the tradition of Aretha Franklin, Sade, Earth Wind & Fire, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, etc. But because of our extensive backgrounds our repertoire is actually quite broad and can include vocal & instrumental jazz, classic rock, blues , Latin, etc. We also play a lot of current hits. It helps to have something for everybody. However which way you like it, we’ve got the groove that is going to make you dance!

I recently hired Ed Mays’ band, Groove Kitchen, to play at a retirement party for my wife. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience. The band showed up on time, was very accommodating to the requirements of the event and played great music. They were just right in the sound level to provide good dancing music while allowing other attendees to carry on conversations. I would strongly recommend them to anyone.

The Ruins by Landmark Event Co

Seattle, WA
  • Venue
  • Up to 150 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

The Ruins by Landmark Event Co is a one-of-a-kind wedding venue in Seattle’s Lower Queen Anne neighborhood. With its enchanting atmosphere, The Ruins offers a memorable setting for dining, dancing, and celebration. The venue can accommodate 150 seated guests and 300 standing, offering a flexible layout for any event. Herban Feast provides award-winning catering at all our venues, delivering exceptional food and service tailored to your event for a smooth, seamless experience.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Multiple event spaces
  • Pets can join the celebration
  • Has a dance floor for celebration

Venue considerations

  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No on-premises lodging options
  • No built-in audiovisual options
The Ruins is like someone took all the cool bits of Seattle, threw in a dash of vintage Europe, and turned it into a wedding venue. From the get-go, the place just oozes personality. You've got walls with hand-painted murals that could have been lifted from a storybook – I’m talking vibrant colors, whimsical scenes, the works. And antlers. And trees indoors. Each room in The Ruins has its own thing going on. One feels like a swanky 1920s lounge, another like a secret garden. We had space to spare, so people could either kick back in a cozy corner or hit the dance floor without stepping on toes. The décor is this wild combo of eclectic and classic – it's like your great aunt’s house if she had more money than cigarettes and if she collected stuff from around the globe and had a killer eye for design. The library is amazing – shelves lined with books, a fireplace that makes you want to curl up with a novel, and this epic swooning couch. So, I might’ve taken inspiration from George Costanza – yep, I did a topless photo shoot on that couch. It was all in good fun, and the photos are a riot – a keepsake that breaks the mold of typical wedding seriousness, just like The Ruins itself. The food was great (but they let you bring in your own desserts so do so if you wanna save some money). The only, minor issue, is the bridal suite's location. It’s right by the kitchen, so it’s kinda like Grand Central at rush hour with the staff buzzing through. Note to brides: Swap it out for the library. Trust me, it’s much less busy (if darker) and you won’t have the kitchen hustle messing with your pre-walk-down-the-aisle zen. Honestly, The Ruins is the kind of place that’s perfect if you want a wedding that's a bit left of center but still super heartfelt. It’s quirky without trying too hard and intimate without being cramped. The whole day felt like us – not stuffy, just a big, fun, love-filled party. The Ruins has many nooks crammed with curiosities and corners begging for a photo op, it’s a place that feels alive. The mix of odd and elegant, the hand-painted walls that seem to whisper tales, the stuff like the enormous elephant (sadly, only in the back back room so only good for wedding photos not the guests) and the patterned horse and much more all adds up to a vibe that’s as unique as your weird cousin, the cool one, not the other one. The Ruins is like that one weird friend who's always got a story to tell and makes everything more fun. Having our wedding there was like a non-stop highlight reel – even with the bridal suite hiccup. It's a place for good vibes, great times, and amazing photos to start your weirdly ever after.

Celene Presto is an AAPI photographer that services the greater Seattle area. Her focus when working with clients is making sure that an authentication connection is established. It's like you're hanging out with a friend.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary with a photo shoot by Celene, and it was an amazing experience. As a fellow Filipino, she incorporated elements from our wedding and heritage into the shoot, making it extra special. Celene was very communicative and open to my vision of incorporating our wedding day and sharing that story with our daughter. She made us feel comfortable, guiding us through every shot, and the final photos perfectly captured our love and family. Due to a recent family loss, I was overwhelmed with emotions that Celene welcomed warmly. We couldn’t be happier with the memories she helped us create. I don’t take myself too seriously. I like to have a good time. I spelI things how i want and I will never wait for a crosswalk. I prefer quality over quantity. Unless we’re talking about coffee, chocolate, wine, shopping, and deals…then i want quality and quantity. I’ve got a potty mouth and a good heart. I give so many fucks about what I do. The details, the experience and creating some real good imagery. I’m an artist and I want to create something beautiful for you.

From a videographer’s perspective: we can only sing Andria’s praises. As a professional, as an artist, and as a person, she is of the highest caliber. We LOVE working with her because we know the flow will be smooth and our goals will sync for the benefit of our clients. The energy she exudes is infectious, making anyone around her at ease. When you hear the word "artist," think Andria. That's truly what she is and what she brings to every wedding. Hiring her is more than a worthy decision, not only for all she delivers to her clients, but for the seamless collaboration she offers other vendors. Don't let her pass you by!

Since I was a child, I viewed the world through an artist’s eye with an especially adoring love for floral design. Colors and textures - even the way they move. All of this comes together to tell my clients' unique story through floral design. To me, nothing is more fulfilling than starting with a blank canvas, bringing together just the right pieces, and letting the visual narrative flow on its own.

As a wedding photographer, I have worked with Chloe many times and clients are always satisfied with her work. There is a variety style of flowers setting but she knows how to balance those flowers at the same time. It is also good to see her being professional all the time that includes getting the work done on time, so I can start photo shooting smoothly. Not to mention her personality, she is friendly and kind to all clients and vendors. Highly highly recommend Chloe!

Working with Sip Station at our most recent event was an absolute pleasure. Andrea and Chelsea made the entire experience seamless. At the event, they were incredibly friendly and professional, leaving our guests raving about their service. As an event planner, I truly appreciated their expertise and creativity. They helped us craft unique cocktails, provided thoughtful budget-conscious recommendations, and communicated with us every step of the way. They were always happy to answer any questions I had, making the process even smoother. From start to finish, the experience was flawless. I would highly recommend Sip Station to any client in need of skilled and personable bartenders.

We love to see a full table of food & drinks bringing people together to celebrate. Contact us for more details and pricing - we would love to talk more!

From the moment we started working with April and the Wandering Table Catering team, we knew we were in great hands. April was extremely communicative, helpful and friendly throughout the entire planning process. The food was amazing - our guests truly enjoyed the plated dinner service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our guests had everything they needed. April and her team are amazing, and we are so glad we booked them to cater our wedding. The service was impeccable, and we couldn't have asked for a better catering experience on our special day. April even coordinated our rentals which was a huge help and made it so easy to execute my vision.
