The Seattle Marriott Waterfront was exactly what we were looking for. It was classy, in a great location and worth the investment. They were always very pleasant, professional and precise in their communication. On our wedding day, both Estefany and Valerie were there to ensure that everything met our expectations and they surprised us with a wedding gift! Luth Weddings and Events

Seattle, WA
  • Planner
  • Offers 6 services
  • Starts at $3,750

We are a husband and wife wedding planning and floral design team that has been creating special moments and unforgettable memories for our couples for over a decade. We are incredibly passionate about making sure that our couples and their loved ones truly get to enjoy not only the wedding day, but the entire planning process leading up to this once in a lifetime experience. We proudly celebrate all couples and are passionate about honoring diversity and love in all forms. We bring many years of experience, a wealth of creativity, a heart for service, and a true love of love to each event we create.

[TLDR: Trust me when I say the dynamic duo of Candice & Christopher cannot be matched. If you've found your way here to their page, do yourselves a favor and book them. You will be so happy you did.] Candice and Christopher are hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. I can't imagine having gone through that experience without them. They are the definition of what it means to go above and beyond. We booked them for our wedding on San Juan Island in July 2022. There are thousands of things we could list here on why we'd choose Candice & Christopher over and over again, but here are just a few that scratch the surface. Going above & beyond for us: Our venue was a new location for Candice and Christopher. It was also huge, complicated, and it was on an island. They happily booked a trip up to the island months before our wedding date to visit the venue and learn the in's and out's before the big day. They also had to get certified to drive the golf carts at the venue. Yet again, they happily signed up for and took a golf cart training for us. These are just two examples of so many where Candice & Christopher far surpassed our expectations and found opportunities to make the extra effort to ensure our day was perfect. Advocating for us: They joined all our phone calls with vendors in the months before the wedding. When one of our vendors changed their tune on a previous agreement, Candice & Christopher spoke up to advocate for us in a way that was super collaborative with everyone involved and secured what we needed from that vendor. When grey area arose, they jumped in to create clarity and made sure all the details were sorted. Supporting us: My first steps to the aisle were down 2 small steps. As I started to walk my dress got caught under my shoes and I would've ate it if Christopher hadn't somehow appeared next to me to stealthily help me catch my balance. From miraculous physical support like this to being our all-around cheerleaders through the process, we felt incredibly supported throughout. The two of them teamed up to cover all the details of our massive (and rather particular) venue. I couldn't imagine a better team behind us to tackle that with what looked like ease and joy. I think that's something that sets them apart, the genuine joy they seem to get by creating a magical experience for an occasion they have so much love for. I have a memory of Candice smiling and grooving to the beat at the end of the night while helping wipe down a table. They truly love what they do. Trust me when I say the dynamic duo of Candice & Christopher cannot be matched. If you've found your way here to their page, do yourselves a favor and book them. You will be so happy you did.

Tony Asgari Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photographer
  • Classic style
  • Starts at $4,000

I’m a Seattle wedding photographer and a dog lover. my passport is current, and I will travel anywhere your wedding adventure takes you - even elopements! My photography is inspired by traveling the world and telling stories through my images. I would be honored to be your wedding photographer. let's meet over coffee or a glass of wine- I would love to learn about your vision for the big day.

Working with Tony was a delight and I would recommend him 10/10. We were connected to Tony through a friend and I'm so happy we were able to meet and work with him for our engagement, rehearsal, and wedding photos. Not only are our photos incredible, but Tony was great at giving us direction, calming us down, making us laugh, and slowing us down to enjoy the day and the process. We were able to get all of the family and "must have" photos, but the large scale nature shots are our favorite and beautifully highlight the scenery. Tony was seemingly everywhere during the weekend and it's impressive how many shots and angles he was able to capture. Tony is responsive, communicative, and a joy to work with. I'm sad it's over, but I am so happy we were connected to Tony for our wedding adventure.

We were thrilled with how our special day turned out, and the huge, open space was ideal for our 165 guests to enjoy the ceremony, reception, and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better venue and highly recommend Sodo Park to any couple planning their wedding.

Dancehall Days

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Band or Ensemble

Dancehall Days regularly performs throughout the Western United States, Hawaii, United Kingdom and Bahamas. We have had the pleasure of performing at such beautiful destinations as Fleetwood's On Front Street, Ocean Club - Bahamas, Ritz Carlton - San Francisco, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge - London and Sun Valley Resort.

We cannot recommend Dancehall Days enough! We wish we could get married all over again just for the music. This band absolutely nailed our wedding in Jackson Hole, and we are still in awe of how incredible they were. My husband and I were so focused on having an amazing band that would get everyone dancing and fit our specific music taste. Not only did they travel all the way from Oregon, but they also made the entire process so easy and enjoyable from start to finish. From the moment we reached out to them, they were a breeze to work with—so friendly, professional, and attentive to our needs. They went above and beyond, learning several special songs for us and ensuring every detail was perfect for our big day. The energy they brought to the reception was unmatched, and they kept the dance floor packed all night long. Safe to say we wanted the band to be the highlight of the night, and they were exactly that. And when it came to the Fleetwood Mac (and even some tough Motown!!) covers? They absolutely killed it! We were beyond thrilled with how they brought those iconic songs to life, just as we had hoped. Every song was performed with such passion and skill, and it made for some seriously magical moments. If you're looking for a band that can deliver incredible live music, great vibes, and a personal touch, Dancehall Days is the way to go. They truly helped make our wedding night unforgettable, and we are so grateful for their talent and energy. I can't wait to catch them at one of their gigs and dance the night away again soon! Thank you, Dancehall Days, for making our celebration everything we dreamed of and more! You guys are incredible! See you soon!

Hello there! I’m Connor, a documentary wedding photographer based in Seattle Washington. From a young age I’ve been intrigued by the way photos can transport you back in time and help relive experiences. Your wedding is probably the one time you will be in the same place with all your favorite people at once. The blending of close friends and family, all here to celebrate your love - how cool is that? My goal is to capture the essence of what it felt like, and help you relive the memories of time spent together.

I feel so grateful we found Connor here on Zola. He played such an important role in our wedding weekend, and I feel like we made a friend in the process! His attention to detail and understanding of our preferences allowed him to capture the weekend beautiful and authentically. His work will play a lasting role in our family.

The Afterparty Band

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Band or Ensemble
  • Starts at $5,000

The Afterparty is your non-stop party show band! With entertaining & fun choreography, costumes and props, audience interactions, and seamless non-stop music sets, this dynamic group brings an unforgettable spark to every performance!

The Afterparty Band and their Duo was one of the best choices we made for our wedding of 100 people! The Duo also set a great ambiance to our outdoor Cocktail Hour. Now, our guests are still talking about how much fun they had dancing and singing along with the band all night. We loved the visuals with lighting, dancing, costume changes, and props. My husband and I couldn’t find time to leave the dance floor because their compilations just flow from one to the next. At first I thought our party would be too small for an 8-piece band at the reception, but they were the perfect addition to build up the crowd and keep everyone together on the dance floor. They even came into the crowd to sing and play instruments to stir up enthusiasm. My only regret was not having more time to chat with our guests for longer because we simply couldn’t peel ourselves off the dance floor. Tristan and Jeff are so responsive, and they were able to work with both me and my wedding coordinators directly to take some of the logistics off my plate. It was also very fun working with the band for all requests. They learned our first dance song so quickly and even sent me a sample of a shortened version of the song to practice to with my husband. They are a wonderful band for any kind of event, large or small, that you want your guests dancing all night with happy hearts.

Bare Bones Co

Seattle, WA
  • Photographer

It’s me! Mckenzie, owner/CEO/graphics/marketing/lead shooter/future BFF/total goofball! I’ve been playing with a camera since I was 16 making my friends model and pose for their MySpace profile pics. I think it’s fair to say I’ve only grown as an artist since then. I graduated with a bachelor's in Fine Arts with an emphasis in photography from the University of Colorado. I’ve been in the wedding game for three years now specializing in lifestyle photography, capturing those raw emotions and sneaky candid shots.

Working with McKenzie was amazing - she not only takes stunning photos, but is organized, communicative, and most of all SO MUCH FUN! Always down for an adventure, McKenzie braved the elements and took our engagement photos up in the snowy Cascades a few years ago. We had such a good time and they turned out beautiful. (We still have family friends asking if it was part of an L.L. Bean ad - ha!) Fast forward to 2020 - the pandemic cancelled our wedding plans so we decided to have our dream elopement instead. On short notice, we asked McKenzie if she could be there to photograph the occasion out in Olympic National Park. She took the ferry out to join us, with just our dog, our best man, and an officiant. It was honestly perfect. I cannot imagine it any other way. At such a small event, it meant a lot to us to have a photographer whose personality and vibe added to the day and jived so well with us. We were so comfortable and in the moment. And the PHOTOS - oh my gosh. They are positively amazing and we will treasure them forever. Check out her instagram and website - every single shoot is unreal beautiful! If you can book with McKenzie, do it! It'll be the best decision you make.

Emily Paris Photography

5.0

Seattle, WA
  • Photographer
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,600

I’m Emily, and I’m a photographer who loves the outdoors, bright colors, and creating photos that capture your authentic self. My style is colorful and candid, almost photojournalistic at times. I’ll capture the standard portraits for your extended family to put on their fridge, of course, but I also try to create photos that show what it really felt like to be there – the bright smiles, the tears, the dancing.

Emily was phenomenal to work with - she is friendly, thoughtful, and talented! She took time to chat with us in advance of the day to make sure that her approach to photography was exactly what we were looking for and to ensure she captured some of the key shots we really wanted. Emily's work reflects the authenticity of the beauty of our wedding without a bunch of overediting I've seen from other photographers. I would highly recommend her for capturing a family and joy focused album, especially if you have an outdoor component to your wedding!

Yep, I’m the photographer who is not afraid to put on hiking boots to scout out the spot up in the mountains that isn’t already documented on Instagram. I’m the one who makes you cry in the middle of Costco when I send your photo gallery. I’m the one you text random wedding questions to because you KNOW I actually want to (and will) answer.

OH MY GOODNESS Rachel sent my husband and I a sneak peek of our wedding photos the day after our wedding and they are absolutely stunning!! Thank you so much Rachel and to your sweet hubby Igor for the most heartfelt and special day! It was nothing like I expected and I was so stressed leading up to it but once Rachel and Igor took the lead everything felt light and fun, and I knew we were capturing memories we’d cherish for the rest of our lives. It truly was a dream come true. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping capture our very special day.

It's true what they say — when you know, you know. Something as special as that innate instinct to love and be loved by your person is art in itself. Keep the star-crossed feeling close with artfully directed photography designed to honor your love / your story / your wedding in all its show-stopping essence in that attention-to-detail / art-imitates-life style. Let's hike a trail, take a milk bath, drink cocktails on the roof, dance in a crowded street, let's get hitched. Let's do it all and make it as unforgettable as the moment you say, "I do!"

From our very first interaction with Allie, we were blown away by their communication style. They responded quickly to all of our questions and were so easy to talk to, making the planning process a breeze. On the day of our wedding, the Allie was a calming presence - she even brought umbrellas for when it started to drizzle! The photos she captured were truly beautiful, perfectly preserving the joy and authenticity of our special day. We were so nervous to have our picture taken but felt completely at ease in front of the camera, and the final images reflect our true selves.

Candid, vivacious photography for life's best moments. Destination wedding and intimate elopement photographer based in Seattle and serving the Hawaiian Islands (Hawaii/Big Island, Maui, Oahu, and Kauai), the West Coast, and abroad.

Like the procrastinator I am, I totally dropped the ball and did not even start to find a wedding photographer until way too late. Luckily, Chelsea fell from the heavens and not only had our wedding date available but was also prepared to do an initial meeting with us the same day we reached out (on New Years Eve no less). What else can I say about Chelsea other than that she is FANTASTIC. We were having a small, COVID friendly wedding that I was planning myself and she offered us so many fun ideas that brought our wedding to the next level. Have you ever been to a wedding where every single guest commented on how great the photographer was? It was like she was part of the family, and honestly, I didn’t even care what the photos looked like because she was just incredible to have around. The photos of course though, were gorgeous. Chelsea is so talented, and she completely captured the light, beachy aesthetic that we were going for. If I ever need a photographer in the future, she will be my first call – and she should be yours too!!

Elite boutique agency based in Seattle, serving local & destination weddings. Our top makeup artists, hair stylists & barbers have years of experience in Fashion, Beauty, Red Carpet, TV and Film industries. We offer our modern brides a full range of à la carte beauty services on location and in studio. Whether it's natural, romantic and soft, or dramatic, our stylists are able to deliver results that bring bridal beauty service to the next level.

Overall, Bridal Beauty Agency exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding. Katya, the owner/lead makeup artist, was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Her communication was always clear, timely and professional, which put me at ease. When I went for my make-up trial, I was not rushed and Katya took detailed notes to ensure she was ready to go on the big day, even though it was a few months later. Katya and her assistant Karla both did a fantastic job of creating natural, individualized looks for my family members and all members of the bridal party. My hairstylist, an unaffiliated beauty professional, even commented on how nice the make-up looked and that we didn't look like we had been "frosted" as can sometimes be the case for wedding make-up. Katya and Karla were efficient which allowed for a more relaxed timeline. The quality of their work was truly exceptional and additionally, Katya is warm and personable. I would book with Bridal Beauty Agency again in a heartbeat for any other special event.

Thank you for dropping by and checking out my work. I have been a working makeup artist for over 20 years and I absolutely love what I do. I started down this path behind the makeup counter at Nordstrom in Seattle WA with Lancôme, just a part time job while I was at the UW working on my pre-law requirements. 4 years later I traded the idea of law school for MAC Cosmetics and spent the next 10 years moving all over the country to some of the best cities including Boston, Phoenix, SF and Las Vegas.

Anne was so professional and easy to work with for coordinating our wedding which was out of town but not quite a "destination". Liz and Kirsten were our hair and make up artists for my trial and for our day of and simply ROCKED it! They both went above and beyond, made everyone feel so comfortable especially since most of us rarely wear make up at all, were very friendly, and ensured everything ran smoothly and kept to the timeline/schedule by some miracle so nothing ran late. Everyone was so happy with how they looked including myself (bride), 2 mothers, 3 bridesmaids, a goomswoman, and even the groom!

Anna Peters Photography

Seattle, WA
  • Photographer
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $7,500

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Anna spent nearly two decades training as a classical ballerina and photographing dance, often sneaking cameras backstage to shoot from the wings while still in costume. She was hooked on wedding photography instantly - the mosaic of emotion and energy that cascades across a wedding day felt like a natural extension of the magic she chased on stage as a dancer. Anna lives and works out of Seattle, though she’s lucky enough to follow her clients up and down the West Coast and occasionally across the globe.

I cannot give enough positive praise for Anna and her beautiful work. Her talent is incredible and is only surpassed by her true compassion for people. Both create a perfect scenario for stunning wedding photography, especially her film photography. She took the time to understand the vision for our wedding and the relationships most important to us so we could have photos that match our priorities. Anna also has a wonderful balance of professionalism and chillness. We were never stressed from photo to photo. She let us know what to expect and also found opportunities for magically unplanned moments. Her photos on our walls are memories we'll cherish for a lifetime.

WE’RE AV + ROMAN …a husband-and-wife team based in Seattle. We’re two city slickers who love adventuring into the mountains just as much. We also are two photography nerds who really enjoy documenting celebrations, especially if you’re celebrating love. Whether that be that big, fat Greek-Italian-Indian-Vietnamese, etc... wedding or an intimate dinner with your closest friends, we can help you put those moments into photographic form. Thank you for stopping by and feel free to shoot us a message.

We booked Goodsell Photos for our backyard covid-restriction-abiding ceremony + cocktail hour in Sep. 2020 and at every step, AV was amazing and on it. I appreciated that she spent time getting to know our story, asked about all the details she needed to know for the big day, provided a schedule, etc. Her work is exceptional and she is a Pro at getting family members to focus up for photos, corralling people, etc. Plus, she was a delight to work with, to boot! We love the photos from the day, and can't recommend her enough.

I believe every wedding has its striking moment. The moment when you walk down the aisle seeing your husband-to-be on the other side gently waiting, and teardrops involuntarily slip from your eyes. The moment when you throw away your self-consciousness to dance with the love of your life no matter how funny you look. And of course, the moment when you witness over 50 years of marriage still standing strong, with many more years to come. That is the proof of true love. That’s why I decided to pursue wedding photography - I want to preserve those striking moments for you.

Choosing a wedding photographer felt like a daunting task until we stumbled upon Roddy’s stunning portfolio and set up a time to chat. My wife and I immediately knew he was the photographer for us and are so glad we were able to not only work with him, but get to know the fantastic person he is throughout the process. He captured the major moments of a wedding day, but also the intimidate, candid moments in between, including many epic dance shots. I can’t recommend him and his artistry highly enough!

Hey, I’m Chelsea! I am an adventure-seeker, dog-mom, and die-hard fan of the St. Louis Blues. I discovered photography at 13, and it became an immediate love affair. In 2012, I graduated from Millikin University with a BFA in Design and Photography. I want to make sure that our time together becomes a fun experience, filled with beautiful pictures to preserve those memories. You start on your next great adventure; I'll capture the memories of the big day.

Beyond amazing working with Chelsea! She is super talented, warm, and wonderful. Love everything about her!

We had a truly magical wedding aboard the Virginia V this July. Our dream was to start in Lake Union, go through the Ballard Locks and end up at the downtown waterfront and they found a way to make it happen. Alicia and Mark were extremely responsive and accommodating of our requests. Our guests had an amazing time and we were so honored to celebrate with a piece of Seattle history. The Virginia V is a nonprofit and I loved supporting them in preserving the ship rather than paying a corporate wedding venue.

Ray's was recommended by a friend of a friend and are so pleased with how everything turned out! We did not know where to begin with our planning and had the help of Ray's staff to guide us through all the details leading up to our wedding and reception. What helped us was the promptness in answering our questions and quickly shifting gears as we got closer to our wedding. The food options are incredible and loved that we did not have to stress about additional vendors for our big day! The day of, Peter was so helpful and quick to solve any problem that came up. Ray's offers the best backdrop for photos and taking in the beauty of Puget Sound! I would also add, this experience was worth every penny! Thank you to Hannah and Peter for being our support and to the Ray's catering staff for being so wonderful!
