Q: How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Typically, couples book our team between 3-12 months before their date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

Q: Do you also offer video services?

Yes! We offer video as an add-on to photography packages, as well as videography as a standalone service if you already have a photographer booked.

Q: How many pictures will we get?

You can expect about 70 to 100 images per hour of photographing. This can vary depending on the number of hours in your package, number of guests, venue setup, and whether or not we're traveling to more than one location in a day.

Q: Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Skyewater Photo + Film is a photography and videography team based in Washington, specializing in adventure elopements and small weddings (75 guests or fewer), with a unique focus on locations and venues that feature the element of water. Our lead photographer Kaitlyn was born in Florida, but with years of experience living in the mountains, Kaitlyn is happiest wherever the water is. She currently lives in West Seattle, Washington, and loves working with couples all over the PNW.

Kaitlyn’s expertise and knack for focusing on genuine, heartfelt moments has won her three Fearless Awards, and has helped over 100 couples cherish memories from their wedding day over the last 10+ years. Our colorful + vibrant style, our focus on sustainable and water-centric elopements/weddings, and our easy planning process helps couples stay more calm and connected on wedding days.

Amazing!
From the very first interaction with Kaitlyn, she and her team stood out to us as the perfect photographer/videographer for our wedding day. Their communication was professional and kept us at ease throughout the entire process. Since I was planning this wedding from across the country, that was very important. The quality of their work was exceptional—detailed, precise, and fun, with a calming presence that made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Kaitlyn and her team truly went above and beyond, making the experience magical and ensuring we were able to enjoy every moment. Her videographer gave our daughter his camera to get some fun shots, and we cannot wait to see them!
