Based in Snohomish County, we have a passion for weddings and believe that every couple deserves to have the celebration of their dreams. With dozens of years’ experience and hundreds of events in our portfolio, we’ll use our knowledge to make those dreams a reality!
Little Blue Bird Events combines the organization of a project manager with the creativity of a wedding designer. From full planning to wedding-day management, we bring personal support, clear communication, and thoughtful execution. Our talented team also offers floral design, beverage service, custom signage, and more—bringing your vision together with fewer vendors to juggle. Every couple receives access to our planning portal to keep details organized, plus our lending inventory of décor to add those finishing touches. You bring the vision; we bring the people, plans, and creativity to make it happen.

Mel was honestly amazing through our whole wedding process and became so much more than just a day-of coordinator. From the very beginning, she was there every step of the way helping us stay organized, coordinating vendors, answering questions, and giving the best recommendations. She truly went above and beyond,bringing all of the flowers, helping with setup and teardown, and making sure everything ran smoothly so we could actually enjoy our day. She made the entire process feel so much less stressful and we genuinely could not have done it without her. Having someone so calm, caring, organized, and invested in our wedding meant the world to us. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and could not recommend her more highly.

From start to finish she was professional, calm, and incredibly experienced — a steady presence during the entire planning process. Mel handled every issue quickly and discreetly so that neither me, the bride, or groom ever had to worry on the day of the wedding. Her support went well beyond logistics: she encouraged us, patiently educated us through decisions, and offered fantastic creative ideas and trusted vendor recommendations. For the investment, she truly exceeded our expectations and helped deliver a flawless wedding in Seattle. If you want someone who will manage everything with competence and grace, choose Mel.

Made the day a breeze
Working with Mel was a great experience! We went with her middle of the road planning package which provided us with a great packet with a very extensive check list, and planning details tabs, including the ceremony details, reception details, an Inso page, our seating chart, all of our vendors information in one place, to do lists to keep us on track. It also included a venue tour with a meeting that followed after, unlimited texting for all of our questions, help trying to find vendors when we were struggling to find what we wanted, multiple other check in meetings throughout the process. Nearing the wedding date my husband and I were both feeling very stressed that we hadn't done enough and hadn't done enough and Mel got on a call with us and talked us off the ledge. Day of I made some final changes to a few things that we had discussed previously and she took it in stride and she got every detail correct with how we envisioned the setup of everything. She did a great job keeping us on schedule and on track throughout the day which was great with having such a large wedding (over 200 people) so many things could've gone wrong and not a single one did! She also was very helpful with things like having her assistant pick up our late night snack which was McDonalds and was a major hit, helping us schedule our car and getting us to the right places at the right time. Working with Mel and Little Blue Bird Events was a breeze and I highly recommend them for any events moving forward!
