I believe couples deserve to have their wedding day captured authentically with images to be cherished the rest of their lives. As a trusted wedding photographer with over 6 years of experience I allow the day to unfold naturally with genuine moments, because those are the ones you will want to look back on. You may get small prompts during your time with me, but it will never be forced. I provide an environment where you can be yourselves, so images captured allow you to feel the day as it originally was.

    The best day!

    We loved working with Sam! Our wedding day was EXHAUSTING! I was too stressed, my spanx were too tight, my shoes were killing me; but her energy during our wedding shoot kept us going!!! And the pictures we received were STUNNING. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Sam. Even my very hard to please mother said "That is a real photographer", which is really the highest compliment she has given anyone. Thank you for capturing our special day Sam!

Typically, couples book me right after they have secured a venue. I take bookings 18 months in advance and my couples book me 3 days after their initial call with me.
Absolutely, we love seeing new places and tend to travel for most of our weddings! I live in Tacoma, Washington, but have travel all over the country and have shot in D.C., Asheville and am looking forward to shooting all down the West Coast. You can find us in Washington and Oregon photographing Weddings and Elopements.
It depends on the collection you choose and how many hours are included. I guarantee a different set amount for each collection. I typically over deliver, but truly feel it’s not about quantity, but the quality.
I’d say I have a candid and photojournalistic style. My photos are warm with natural tones. I love capturing unscripted moments, and try not to force couples into poses.. That being said I will create poses that cater to you as a couple during portraits and for the typical family photos at your wedding.
We will bring our own snacks to eat throughout the day. And my contract does include that a hot meal needs to be provided for myself and any other photographer with me.
Yup! I sure do. Most wedding venues require that we carry our own insurance.
I will give you a preview a few days after your session or wedding, so you don’t have to wait the full time it takes to edit your gallery photos. Weddings typically take 8-10 weeks, and Engagements or smaller session 2-3 weeks.
I have two Nikon camera bodies and I use prime lenses. I have flashes and stands I use during dance floor photos, and night photos. Both of my cameras have two memory card slots which allows me to back up my photos in case of card corruption.
