“The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“If you're looking for a DJ who goes above and beyond, Mike is your guy. From start to finish, he was the definition of professional. Responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Communication was excellent throughout the entire planning process. Mike made sure to walk through the venue with us ahead of time so that every logistical detail was locked in well before the big day. He handled all the traditional wedding DJ responsibilities flawlessly, but he also embraced our more unique requests without hesitation. We asked him to play video game lo-fi music during cocktail hour and dinner, and he absolutely nailed it. We're also huge fans of metal and rock, and we were initially worried that might not translate well to a wedding dance floor. He was able to mix those songs in live and keep the energy high all night. It turned out to be one of our favorite parts of the reception, and honestly something we weren't sure we'd get to experience. “ASEDJ was a blessing when our original band plan fell through. Shockingly they had availability just months before our wedding but that's due to them having several DJs on staff, not just one. The booking process was thorough - they schedule a call before booking where they provided plenty of info. After booking they provided a website to plan our timeline, must plays, and do not plays. Month of you're given a schedule and are eventually assigned a DJ. They offer a photobooth, dance floor, a DJ with a drummer, as well as wedding planning. Idk if they would have been our first choice when we began planning but they were extremely thorough and helpful when we needed them the most! Only complaint was they didn't come close to playing all of our "must" plays but otherwise a great vendor and well experienced in tons of Des Moines Metro venues which is a huge plus.”

“Dietrich Entertainment DJ'd our daughter's wedding and was absolutely amazing. Kyle was extremely organized and professional. He met with our daughter and her fiance ahead of time to get a feel for their likes and dislikes. He arrived the day of the wedding with high energy and kept the dance floor packed all night. We had multiple compliments on how great and organized he was. “I don’t know where to start with Dillon and Electric Sugar…. They were incredible. Plain and simple. I worked with Dillon leading up to wedding weekend and he was kind, prompt, professional, and fun. We worked together to create a set list that was perfect for our taste in music. Dillon also played guitar at our ceremony and it was beautiful. He did a combo of guitar and prerecorded music per our request and it was perfect. He brought all the equipment needed for our officiant to have a microphone as well. The Electric Sugar band as a whole played for our reception. We had them for 3 hours and the dance floor was packed for 3 hours. They were so much fun and SO talented!!! It was the best party and they were a huge reason behind it! I would recommend them to anyone for their wedding or any other occasion they are looking to add spice and energy too. If we ever host another event where music is needed I would book them in a heartbeat”
