“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“Booking a DJ was perhaps one of the wedding decisions I was most nervous about because I have been to too many weddings with boring/cringey DJs. In my opinion, a DJ can make or break the experience for your guests. Niko made the experience a blast for us and for our guests, start to finish! We had just under 100 guests, very much a mix of older folks who didn't interact with the dance floor much, and friends who were on the dance floor all night. Niko did a perfect job of playing exactly what we wanted, and reading the crowd to adjust the vibe and keep the energy going. I'll never forget ending the night on a high note with Pink Pony Club and a circle of our closest friends dancing to the very end with us. He also did great with the transitions and announcements throughout the night and kept our night running smoothly. Niko has the whole planning process very well organized with consultation meetings and playlist brainstorming. His communication was professional, warm, inclusive, and organized. We loved working with Niko and cannot recommend enough!”

“Picking Jeff as our DJ was our easiest wedding decision — which was a welcome relief among so many decisions. Music was the biggest thing my husband was interested in for the wedding and his interactions with Jeff got him excited about wedding planning. I interviewed 4 other DJs and none of them came close to the quality service or value of price that Jeff did. Every other DJ was a scripted phone call, or I felt that they didn’t actually listen to my information or questions. I met Jeff in person and could tell instantly he was our DJ. He was personable, flexible in meeting time (I was coming from out of state), and came prepared. He already had a list of questions ready to better understand what we wanted, walked me through his process, showed me his paperwork (which you can start working on immediately after booking, was super helpful for us). He took the time to get our details right and connect to us as a couple. He was always early, prepared (complete with backups), and integrated smoothly with the other vendors. We were a smidge delayed from photos and he checked in with us in a way that kept us relaxed and kept things fun for the guests. The way dinner and photos were structured could have been a big boring gap in our reception, if he hadn’t helped us figure out how to fill that time with interaction and then executed it perfectly. Our guests really liked his personality and that our favorite songs were played on the dance floor. The lights made the party!!! Other DJs were charging double his prices for less quality equipment and service, so the value can’t be matched. Definitely recommending Apex to all!”

“We loved working with Fred and his wife! They instantly came in with such good energy. We had so much fun! They always looked out for us throughout the whole night. We wish we had more time to party with them more. I can't thank them enough for all the music throughout the wedding and even the photobooth! Every one of my guests had so much fun. Going into our wedding, I honestly expected the dance floor to have a few people trickling on and off throughout the night. We had mostly young kids and an older crowd, so I really didn’t expect a huge dance party. Boy, was I wrong! DJ Gee Reed had the entire room on the dance floor! Granny was busting her last good hip, and the kids went from crawling to dancing! It was absolutely INSANE—in the best possible way. He also did an amazing job with announcements, getting on the mic right on cue, and knowing exactly when to play, transition, and end songs. Everything flowed so smoothly, and you could tell he truly knew what he was doing. But beyond being an incredible DJ, DJ Gee Reed has a heart of gold. My father-in-law has Parkinson’s, and during the reception, he lost ahold of his trousers. Without hesitation, Gee stepped in, tried to shield him from the crowd, and helped him through the situation. You absolutely didn’t have to do that, but you did—and I cannot thank you enough for showing that kind of compassion and kindness. I genuinely don’t have a single complaint about this man. “Don was the perfect DJ! Prior to the event, he scheduled multiple calls to meet us & understand exactly what we were looking for. He has an online portal where we could input our requested songs for key events (i.e. ceremony, cake cutting, etc.), & this portal also had a section for you to identify the songs you really love & songs you like. The day of the wedding, he executed perfectly. He helped keep the reception flowing seamlessly, interacted with guests, & most importantly was able to keep the dance floor going all night.
