We had him play acoustically for before our ceremony, during our ceremony, and at the cocktail hour. He even learned a song especially for the wedding party processional that we requested. He is so talented! He also wrote an original song for us to dance to at the wedding. Definitely a must! My fiancé hadn't heard it before the wedding so it made for a very special moment. JJ was great at reading the crowd on the dance floor during the reception. I had so many compliments about the music and how full the dance floor was all night long. JJ pays great attention to detail and sent us a detailed itinerary for our event. He was great at making sure everything moved along just as planned. “DJ Ramsey KILLED it at our wedding. He knows his stuff, not just how to keep a dance floor bumping (which he certainly did) but also helped the ceremony go off without a hitch. He provided mics for us to say our vows so everyone could hear, he worked with our officiant to make sure he was mic’d and faded the songs we chose in and out perfectly. He was a great MC during the reception parts and just an all around great hype man for my husband and I. We had multiple calls with him beforehand to make sure we were all on the same page about every little detail and we knew we were in good hands. “The photographer, videographer, and photo booth was absolutely perfect and our guests had a blast! However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

“We cannot recommend DJ Neema enough. He is the BEST of the best. As a musician and dancer and coming from American (Texan) and Indian backgrounds, the music for our wedding was very important to us. Historically, we’ve found wedding DJs to be subpar. Between the poor choice in songs and the lack of beat matching ability, we‘ve always had critiques about the DJs when we attend weddings. From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. On the wedding day, he worked his magic, keeping the dance floor alive the entire time — keep in mind that this was a daytime and a completely dry wedding!
