The Parker Mill is the absolute perfect venue! The views are spectacular and the services offered made our day so much easier to plan. At every step in our planning process Alexis and Brock were so kind and accommodating with addressing any concerns or questions we had. Everything about our day was beautiful, everything ran smoothly and the spaces the Parker Mill provided were perfect for our needs. If you are considering the Parker mill at all go on a tour! The moment we stepped foot on property we knew this wedding venue would be perfect, and we hope you do too! We cannot recommend the Parker Mill more!

My husband and I hosted our wedding at The Willow and Whisk back in June. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or for better hosts! The property is absolutely beautiful and Andrea and her family were amazing to work with. They were the most gracious hosts and super accommodating for our weekend. We rented the venue from Friday-Sunday for us and the wedding party, which was so convenient for our friends coming from out of state. Andrea also helped me coordinate with all of my vendors, which made the weekend go much smoother than if I had done it all myself. Every single one of our guests had nothing but great things to say about the venue and the experience. We hope to come back and stay for an anniversary trip some day! If you're looking for a secluded yet beautiful venue to host a small wedding or get together, I highly highly recommend The Willow and Whisk.

From the moment we started working with Emma at Castle Ladyhawke, we were impressed by their quick, efficient, and warm communication style. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful, with an authentic, charming feeling that made our wedding day feel truly special. The food was fantastic and despite complications it was a beautiful and magical day. While our initial coordinator, Emma, was great to work with over the 8 months leading up to the wedding, we were disappointed to learn upon arrival that she would not be there on the day. Her replacement, Kelsie, arrived late, did not have our updated documents, failed to communicate with the vendors that there was a space for them on the third floor, and seemed to lack the positive energy and personal responsibility we had come to expect. There were also a few small hiccups, like the arch being set up incorrectly initially. But overall, we had a wonderful, memorable day for us and our guests.

We hosted a small wedding for our family and friends at Elegant Elite Estate, and it was perfect for our group of 40! The venue was highly accommodating and made everything seamless. On the day of the event, everything was set up exactly as anticipated, the chairs, tables, and beautiful wedding arch. Having on-site lodging for the entire group was incredibly convenient, eliminating the hassle of transportation between our accommodations and the venue. We couldn’t have asked for a better setup!

Angel's View Wedding Chapel provided a wonderful space for our small, intimate wedding. The staff was responsive and answered all of our questions throughout the planning process. The chapel itself has a beautiful and serene atmosphere that was perfect for our ceremony. The only downside was that there didn't seem to be much time between weddings, so we felt a bit rushed getting our decorations set up. Overall, we were very happy with the value and quality of Angel's View and would recommend it for couples looking for a quaint, charming wedding venue.

Each place to stay (The Wren, The Kingfisher, The Peregrine) have the most thoughtful touches & elevated views. The design of each space is detailed, classy, & has tons of personality. Margaret allows her guests to "personalize" their wedding experience so that each wedding or event planned is truly one of a kind. Celebrate outside by the pond, inside the restored barn, or by a waterfall! The versatility of the property makes planning an event so much more memorable! We love the mountains and wanted the perfect wedding venue to reflect that and this venue did not disappoint! The views were stunning and we were able to take amazing pictures. We got married at Stony Woods Estate during the weekend of Hurricane Helene. This storm devastated WNC in ways that are hard to put into words. Entire roadways, bridges, and towns were washed away, leaving communities isolated and in crisis. We chose Stony Woods because our families and friends were going to be traveling from out of state. Stony Woods offered the perfect setup. In addition to the main villa, the property has several beautiful/modern cabins within walking distance. As the storm wreaked havoc on the surrounding areas, 24 of us, including young children and elderly relatives—hunkered down at SW for 3.5 days, waiting for a safe route out. Despite the devastation around us, we were incredibly fortunate. Stony Woods sits high enough up the mountain that the venue remained mostly untouched, aside from a few downed trees and the loss of power/running water. The property became a sanctuary offering stunning mountain views once the storm passed. These moments of natural beauty provided comfort and healing as we navigated the chaos. When the situation turned dire, Kim and Steve stepped up in ways we never expected. They brought us vital supplies—diapers, baby wipes, food, water, and more. Their kindness and support were a lifeline while there. We had planned for a wedding with 75 guests, complete with vendors but of course, none of that happened. We didn’t have our full wedding party. Even our officiant, had no way of reaching us/vice versa. We didn’t know if she was safe, let alone if she’d be able to officiate our ceremony. Amid the uncertainty, Kim asked if we still wanted to get married and if there was anything she could do to help. With everything going on, the thought of still having our wedding seemed almost impossible. I replied, “We don’t even have an officiant.” To my surprise, Kim told me that Steve is ordained. She reassured me that if we wanted to move forward with the ceremony, Steve would happily step in. The morning of our wedding, everyone on the property—including Kim and Steve —came together to make it happen. My stepmother did the decor so we had them with us, My SIL did my hair in an RV outlet, and my MOH did my makeup with whatever we had. We used a BT speaker to play whatever songs we already downloaded on our phones. I don’t even remember what song played as I walked down the aisle, but it was perfect. For our reception meal Kim and Steve made a giant batch of spaghetti over their fire pit since we still had no power/were running low on food. Somehow, they also managed to bake a wedding cake—SO THOUGHTFUL. Despite the lack of vendors, guests, and traditional wedding elements, our people came together to create such a special day – a true testament to the power of community and love. The cherry on top? Our photographer, Ashley Sieg, miraculously made it to us with no cell service and no idea if we were still having a wedding. She captured stunning photos that we will cherish forever. Kim and Steve were more than just venue hosts; they were our lifeline during a harrowing weekend. Their generosity, resourcefulness, and genuine care made all the difference. From bringing supplies to officiating our ceremony, we couldn’t have done it without them. Stony Woods Estate is a breathtaking property. But beyond its beauty, this place holds a special magic. If you’re on the fence about booking your wedding here, do it. You won’t regret it! Don’t be surprised if Kim and Steve become a lasting part of your story.

Our Reunion-Style Wedding at Hawkesdene I’ve struggled to put this experience into words because so much can’t be fully captured. My husband and I feel incredibly grateful to have celebrated with family and friends at this stunning estate and charming town—truly the most fun experience! Reunion-Style Wedding for 100 Guests (No wedding package, no weekend venue rental, and we were legally married beforehand to enjoy the day stress-free.) Weekday Wedding: Sunday–Tuesday (Monday was a holiday). Full Estate Rental: We covered the entire property, including optional cabins, but skipped the wedding package so we could fully host guests. DIY Ceremony: No designated aisle or seating (just a few chairs for family). It turned out beautifully! No Decor Needed: The venue is breathtaking, so we skipped decorations. Floral Rentals: Used Something Borrowed Blooms—absolutely perfect. Incredible Food: Every meal was amazing (menu below). Cost: Clearly listed on their website—no hidden fees. Tip: Get event insurance when hosting at an estate. Unexpected things can happen, and it’s peace of mind for you and the next couple. We always envisioned a wedding weekend instead of a single day. Since we live far from family, we wanted quality time together. After extensive research (and almost giving up), we found Hawkesdene on VRBO while considering an elopement in the Georgia mountains. It was the only venue that allowed us to host guests while staying within budget. Itinerary Sunday Whitewater Rafting (10 AM): Nantahala with Carolina Outfitters (highly recommend!) Breweries (1:30–3:30 PM): Hoppy Trout (great private room) & Snowbird Mountains Brewery (provided kegs). Check-in (4 PM) Dinner (7 PM) Champagne Toast at the Peak (7:45 PM): ½-mile hike—steep but worth it! S’mores & Activities (9 PM) Monday Breakfast (8:30–10 AM) Waterfall Hike (10:30–11:30 AM): 1-mile in, 1 out—rain made it tricky but worth it! Lunch (12:30–2 PM) Lawn Games (1:30–3 PM) Ceremony (5:15 PM, DIY setup) Cocktail Hour (5:30 PM) Reception & Dinner (6:45 PM) Evening Activities (8:30 PM) Tuesday Breakfast (8:30 AM) Check-out (by 11 AM) The Food The food was phenomenal—to flawlessly cook this much fish deserves an award. We skipped a cake and were thrilled with the chef’s dessert selections. Menu: Salads: Greek & Balsamic Entrees: Salmon (Night 1), Honey-Balsamic Chicken (Night 1), Trout (Night 2), Steak (Night 2) Sides: Squash, Green Beans, Sweet Potato, Mac & Cheese, Asparagus, Broccolini Logistics & Final Thoughts Jami & Rob were fantastic. If you choose Reunion Style (no wedding package), be prepared to handle logistics yourself. It worked perfectly for us but isn’t for everyone. Their website outlines everything—read it carefully! Alcohol: We used Appalachian Beverage in Ellijay (they have everything). We provided a small amount of liquor, but most guests got their own—so refer back to my event insurance note! Soak it all in. This place is truly magical—like the Disney of wedding venues. We wouldn’t change a thing, and our guests still rave about it. Highly recommend for a unique and unforgettable wedding weekend!

I wish you could give 10 stars because Bent Creek Lodge deserves more than 5 !! We had my daughters wedding today on Nov 14 2022 and we could have asked for or had anything done differently. The staff is excellent from beginning to end. The rooms are beautiful including the Luhn house !! And Randy ? He is wonderful and willing to do everything to make sure everyone is happy. A truly beautiful, must see and stay !!!!

The rooms are so freakin cool and unique as well. Transportation on the property is great too with all of the chauffeur, you barely have to walk around at all (which, during the summer you will want this!)

We loved having our big day at Weaver House. We used their full planning services and their catering. Alexandra is very easy to work with and is that calming presence on your wedding day! The venue itself if beautiful - we picked it partly because of the gardens outside since we love the outdoors and love spending time at our local arboretum. The catering was amazing as well - Chef Joey and Chef Brit take time to learn what you and your partner like and can put those spins on dishes you choose. The value is also great for the Western North Carolina area. We are so glad we kept our wedding in WNC after Helene and could support a wonderful space that truly wanted our day to be what we envisioned.

When we were deciding on a venue we looked at several places in and around Knoxville we found two very common themes - barns and warehouses. While many of the locations we looked at were beautiful we wanted something fun and unique, which is how we found Zoo Knoxville. We knew that it would allow for a once in a lifetime memory for ourselves and our guests, and boy oh boy it did not disappoint. We held our ceremony in front of the elephants, the cocktail hour was in the treehouse near the gibbons, and our reception was in their event tent near Kid's Cove. The Zoo was great to work with from the beginning to the end, we had a team of coordinators to work with and they had their own catering/bar service so it was on stop shop. I can't recommend Zoo Knoxville enough if you want a unique wedding experience that your friends and family will be talking about, this venue is for you. Plus it's somewhere we can easily go back to relive all of our memories.
