“We hired Baltimore Sound and got DJ Alex for our wedding. He was AMAZING!! Not only was he so helpful in the planning process, but he was also so kind in person on the wedding day. Since the wedding day, multiple people have told me that it was the best music they have ever heard at a wedding. He played great songs and had such fun transitions between them. Alex showed up early to set up in case we needed his help during the ceremony and truly went out his way to make our day special. I highly recommend this company and, specifically, I really cannot recommend Alex enough. He was fantastic!!”

“If you're on the fence about your wedding DJ, stop looking and book Jacob from District Remix. From the first time we met Jacob, we knew we were on the same wavelength. He immediately understood the atmosphere we wanted to create throughout the night, from a vibey dinner reception to an absolutely packed dance floor. He's incredibly professional, easy to work with, and genuinely knows his music. Jacob met with us several times leading up to the wedding and was always open to our ideas. We gave him a list of songs and different genres we loved, and he took it to another level by creating an incredible "Power Hour" set. He seamlessly mixed our songs with others that perfectly matched the vibe, keeping each song to around 90 seconds or less so the energy never dropped. I can honestly say there wasn't a single moment during that set where I wanted to leave the dance floor. Every transition kept people engaged, and the dance floor stayed packed. Beyond the music, Jacob was excellent on the microphone. He was professional, clear, and never overbearing. He knew exactly when to step in and when to let the music do the work. Looking back on our wedding, hiring Jacob was hands down the best money we spent on any of our vendors. He didn't just play music, he helped create the energy and memories that made the night unforgettable. We couldn't recommend him more highly.”

“Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

“DJ Ed was so accommodating in bringing our medieval fantasy cocktail hour to life. It perfectly set the mood I was looking for, and I was so happy that he was able to play our nontraditional music selections; thankfully he was able to use a Spotify playlist I had made just for cocktail hour. I received so many compliments on the music from my guests, and he kept them dancing for hours! But the one thing Ed did that I was most impressed with and touched by, was him picking the perfect next song when my husband was dancing with his daughter. Our photographer was able to get some beautiful photos of the moment, and we will be treasuring them for years. Without Ed's instincts and quick thinking, we wouldn't have those photos. “I found MixMasters Entertainment through my wedding venue, and I am so grateful that I did! From the beginning they were very professional, and their planning portal was very easy to navigate to share our wedding/timeline information along with conveying our music tastes. Additionally, Chris is very quick to respond to questions and provide thorough answers, which made planning that much easier! Closer to the wedding we had a call with DJ Nick, and he was both professional and personable-- we had a great conversation with him and clicked instantly! We went over all of the little details in our call that way the wedding day went smoothly. It was also a great opportunity to talk about music choices and vibes for dancing, which were executed perfectly at the reception! And due to specific circumstances, he was able to offer us a great deal on uplighting and I'm so happy we went for it! It really transformed the venue for dancing and brought so much energy. On the wedding day DJ Nick knew exactly what to do without having to ask us questions and made sure everything ran smoothly on his end from set up to wedding party introductions to toasts to dancing and clean up. I also want to note that him and his wife Erin were very sweet to let my nephew (who's 5) "help" them with sound checks which I know he had a blast with. They/my sister had the idea of my nephew introducing my husband and I for the reception, and I thought it was such a sweet idea! And DJ Nick checked with me personally to make sure I wanted this change rather than relying on secondhand confirmation, which I really appreciated! And the dancing! We really did dance the night away in the best way possible. The song choices were great as well as the transitions, and again the uplighting really did bring an extra energy to the space which was fantastic. DJ Nick was able to read the crowd in order to change up song vibes and keep the energy up the whole night. I felt like I couldn't step away from the dance floor! And towards the end of the night when it was all the 20 somethings left on the dance floor the microphone came out and it was so much fun!! Again, everything that happened really fit the vibe and I could tell everyone was having so much fun. Nick also went above and beyond for us: a few days after our wedding he sent us a Spotify playlist of all the songs played at our wedding and a Google Photos album of all the pictures/videos he took at the wedding! It was a really kind and thoughtful thing to do. In summary: Chris and Nick are very professional in their work, are fantastic at their jobs, can pick up a vibe and immediately run with it, and in general are just very kind people. I will be recommending MixMasters any chance I get!”

Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Party Girl Entertainment is run and operated by Amy Reid; an active Baltimore DJ, musician and events curator performing since 2010. Driven by music, a sincere joy of the dance floor and the power it has to bring people together, she formed PGE in 2019 with this goal in mind. She is accommodating and welcomes venues both intimate and expansive. In 2017, The Baltimore Sun deemed Reid as one of “10 Baltimore Musicians on the Rise.” She has also been featured in Baltimore Magazine’s “Faces of Pride” issue in 2019. Her favorite party starters are Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody” and David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance.”

“Amy was the DJ for our November 2024 wedding. As the music sets the vibe, we wanted someone who really understood what we were looking for and understood the music we like and our tastes. After a horrible experience talking with another vendor, we immediately clicked with Amy and felt that she understood what we were looking for (Gay dance pop!). Communication with her was straightforward and simple, and she took our basic playlists for different parts of the night and blended them to reflect our style and set the appropriate mood. She executed the music cues during our outdoor ceremony perfectly which we believe helped to elevate the whole experience. But the star of our experience with her was an amazingly packed and vibrant dance floor for the whole time. We got so many compliments on the music and everyone from our friends to coworkers and older relatives had a great time. One of our requests was to play a ton of Chappell Roan and Amy delivered, including a (potentially original?) dance mix of Pink Pony Club that was honestly transcendent. She even played a special song for a plushie toss (it’s a story) without our prompting. The band is very high energy we will make your event rock. Your guest will be blown away from all the dancing and just having a great time. The band specializes in various music and dance music for all occasions. From Motown, Classic Rock, 70’s, 80’s, 90,s, current dance, R&B dance, and top 40 dance music.

“These guys were our first vendors hired after we secured our venue and we are SO HAPPY we had them. They are wonderful people and insanely talented musicians, and they are so chill, flexible and kind. Our first venue canceled on us 4 months from the wedding date, and they pivoted quickly and signed on for our new date and venue. They learned two new songs to play alongside two vocalist performances during our ceremony, and jammed out during cocktail hour before becoming our emcees and DJs for the reception. They even made it work when we had a last-minute rain plan go into action. My guests will not stop talking about how great the music was throughout the whole event. Tim and Anthony were nothing but a joy to work with. They are all good vibes and good music. I hope to make it to another of their gigs soon!!! Thank you so much!!!!!”
