“Choosing The Wheeler House was the single greatest decision my husband and I made when it came to our wedding. The venue is unbelievably charming, and we fell in love with it on our first visit. The team makes wedding planning so easy with the all inclusive model, and it took so much stress off of us during our engagement. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, and made our wedding day run absolutely seamlessly. Our coordinator, Ashley, was an absolute lifesaver. She helped bustle my dress when no one else could figure out how to, brought my husband and I drinks and appetizers during our family pictures, and kept us from running behind schedule all night. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and we have the entire Wheeler House team to thank for that. If we could go back and do it again, we would choose them every time!”

“We rented the Piedmont Garden Tent for our wedding in the summer of 2021. To this day, our friends and family compliment the venue, the food, and everything from our day. We had rain in the morning and our PGT planner, Ashley, helped us come up with options to ensure we still had a lovely ceremony, although it didn’t happen outdoors as well had planned. Day of, they shifted all the florals from the ceremony during cocktail hour and made the place look even more stunning for the reception. The food options and bar were some of the best we’ve had at a wedding, ever! They ensured we had food for my husband and I in the suite and plates prepared while we greeted our guests. The team at the garden tent was truly phenomenal and I can’t recommend them enough! Thank you for letting us host our fairytale wedding!”

“As a recent bride, I truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first visited, we were blown away by how absolutely beautiful everything was. The space itself creates such a magical atmosphere, and it made our day feel even more special than we imagined. One of the biggest highlights for us was how much the venue takes care of for you. They handle everything, from tables, chairs, and linens to catering and bartending, which made the planning process so much less stressful. It was such a relief to know that so many important details were already covered, and that everything came together seamlessly on the big day. What really set this venue apart, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and genuinely excited to be part of our day. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy every moment. Colby, the venue coordinator, was an absolute joy to work with. Colby is not only super fun and easygoing, but also incredibly responsive and organized. No matter how many questions I had, Colby always replied quickly and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire planning process. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with an amazing team behind it, I cannot recommend this place enough. It truly made our wedding day unforgettable.”

How Far in Advance Should You Book a Georgia Wedding Venue?

Most Georgia couples start their venue search about 13 months before their wedding date with November being the busiest month for inquiries. If you've got your heart set on a popular venue, especially for weekend dates during fall or spring, you'll want to move quickly. Georgia's peak wedding seasons run April through June and September through November when the weather is most cooperative. Popular venues during these prime times often book up 12-18 months in advance so starting early gives you the best chance at securing your dream location without having to compromise on your preferred date.

Georgia venues beautifully incorporate regional culture through distinctive experiences you won't find elsewhere. Many properties lovingly preserve their architectural details while offering all the modern amenities you'd expect. What makes Georgia venues truly special is how they blend that famous Southern tradition with contemporary style, creating settings that feel both timeless and fresh. Your guests will experience authentic Southern hospitality while enjoying spaces designed to create the perfect backdrop for your once-in-a-lifetime celebration.
