This North Georgia Wedding Venue is the perfect place for your wedding or next event! The Wheeler House is the ultimate package encompassing true southern charm! Conveniently reached by guests from all parts of North Georgia and the suburbs of Atlanta, The Wheeler House encompasses true southern charm with its meaningfully preserved, yet restored grounds and house. Built in 1906 by John. F. Wheeler, owner of the Wheeler Lumber Yard on Main Street in Ball Ground, the house was constructed with Heart Pine tongue and grove floors, walls, ceilings, and wrap-around porches. The Wheeler House is a historic gem that has been given new life by serving as a wedding venue and special event site.

Would choose this venue again and again :)
We had the best experience at The Wheeler House!! From start to finish, the entire team was incredibly friendly, professional, and so organized. Every detail felt handled with care, which made such a difference during the planning process :) Our wedding coordinator, Abby, was truly amazing!! She kept consistent communication with us the entire time and made sure we always knew what to expect next. It made everything feel manageable and way less overwhelming! Wedding planning can definitely be stressful, but The Wheeler House made it feel so much easier and actually enjoyable. We felt supported every step of the way, and that peace of mind is something you really can’t put a price on. We’re so grateful we chose this venue!!

Our best decision!
Choosing The Wheeler House was the single greatest decision my husband and I made when it came to our wedding. The venue is unbelievably charming, and we fell in love with it on our first visit. The team makes wedding planning so easy with the all inclusive model, and it took so much stress off of us during our engagement. The entire staff was incredibly helpful, and made our wedding day run absolutely seamlessly. Our coordinator, Ashley, was an absolute lifesaver. She helped bustle my dress when no one else could figure out how to, brought my husband and I drinks and appetizers during our family pictures, and kept us from running behind schedule all night. Our wedding was the best day of our lives, and we have the entire Wheeler House team to thank for that. If we could go back and do it again, we would choose them every time!

The Perfect Venue !
The Wheeler House was the perfect venue for our wedding ceremony, reception, and getting ready, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Spending the morning in such a beautiful, historic home made everything feel so special. The bridal suite was amazing—plenty of space for my bridesmaids and me to get ready together and enjoy those moments before the day began. One of my favorite memories was having a quiet moment on the private porch swing to write my vows. It gave me the chance to pause, reflect, and take everything in before walking down the aisle. Emma, our wedding coordinator, was absolutely incredible. She stayed in constant communication throughout the entire planning process, provided helpful checklists, and made sure I was always ahead on what needed to be done. She was so kind, cheerful, and easy to talk to, which made everything feel smooth and stress-free. On the wedding day, she truly brought everything together and made my dream wedding come to life. This venue makes it so easy to have a seamless and beautiful wedding day. Everything flows naturally, and the property itself is stunning. We also rented The Wheeler House cottages for an after party, and I highly recommend doing that! After such an amazing day, we didn’t want the celebration to end, and it gave us extra time to continue celebrating with our friends and family. I can’t recommend The Wheeler House enough—it exceeded every expectation and gave us the most perfect wedding day.

Beautiful Venue, Great Staff
It was a beautiful event. The Wheeler House is an amazing place to have your wedding. We loved the “all-inclusive” style venue, making the wedding planning process so much better. Our wedding coordinator, Abby, was amazing and made sure the day went as perfect as it can be. Food was great, staff was great, wouldn’t change a thing. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t have asked for a better wedding venue than The Wheeler House!! I had followed this venue for YEARS on instagram and always knew I would be interested in touring. Once we toured the venue and heard about their amazing all inclusive package we booked immediately. Our wedding coordinator was Emma Ray and she was FANTASTIC. She made wedding planning a breeze and was always available to answer any questions I had. I never once felt stressed in the process thanks to her. She was amazing day one and made sure everything was absolutely perfect and just the way I wanted it! Our guests raved about how helpful Emma and all of the staff were, as well as how delicious the food was! We were on a pretty tight budget and this venue was great about allowing us to DIY certain aspects to save money where we needed. I seriously couldn’t dream of a better place to have a wedding!
