How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me about 6-12 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.

How long will it take to see our pictures?

My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 2-3 weeks after your wedding. Previews are sent 24-48hrs after your wedding day. For busy season (October-March) my delivery for galleries is 6-7 weeks.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Question 4

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful.

Question 5

We've previously taken our engagement photos with another photographer, can we substitute that for something else or get a discount?

My engagement sessions are complimentary with most of my packages, so I am not able to give a discount on my packages. However, you can definitely substitute it for another session! Couples love when I attend their rehearsal dinners if you are doing something specials or have speeches planned! Or, we can do a newlywed session to celebrate your marriage with more photos.

Do you also do videography?

I do not, but I have worked with amazing videographers and would love to refer them to you!

Question 7

What is your hourly rate if my wedding goes over the coverage time?

My hourly flat rate is $270/hour for my wedding coverages.

Question 8

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If your package has a second shooter I will bring along a photographer that I love and trust to shoot alongside me for your wedding day. Second shooters are a great way of capturing different angles and ensuring we get the shot!

Question 9

How many pictures will we get?

Accepted Answer

You can expect about 75 to 95 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.

Question 10

Are we able to add on services?

Accepted Answer

Of course, you may add on hours, prints, etc. to your wedding package! Let me know what you would like to add on and I can give you a quote on the extra cost.

Question 11

We need to cancel our services with you. Are your deposits refundable?

Accepted Answer

No, my deposits are non-refundable. No exceptions. My contract states that the initial deposit is non-refundable, and any other payments can be refunded as long as I was given a 24-72 hour notice. If no notice was given, the remaining payments must be paid in full and no refunds will be distributed.

Do we get full access to the photos? No watermark? We don't have to pay any additional fees?

All photos are non-watermarked, and you have full access to your photos. I have a minimum of photos I deliver, you will not have to purchase any of the edited photos from me. It is all included within your package!

Question 13

What is your hourly rate for coverages under 5 hours?

For micro weddings or elopements where you don't need a lot of coverage I charge $270/hour. This is also my rate for if you need to add hours to your coverage for your wedding.

How would you describe your style?

Accepted Answer

I take a timeless, intentional, and romantic take on photography. With the posing, to the details I take every thing into consideration and make sure I capture all the moments that you may miss on your day and want to cherish. For my editing, I edit every photo individually according to the setting, season, and time of day.
