People ask me about Moments with Ada Photography. It grew out of an abundant desire to pay tribute to my late great-grandmother. Welcome to Alan Barnett Photography. I’m thrilled to partner with you to document your love for each other and help you remember your special day for years to come. I love working with couples on weddings large and small, though my favorite weddings are smaller and more casual. My style is perfect for a documentary feeling of the day’s events plus beautiful posed portraits.

I am a New England photographer living in Connecticut, but always down for a trip to anywhere that involves capturing the love between two beautiful souls! I am creative at heart and I feel as though I was called to become a photographer. I love dreaming up wedding days, planning out locations for engagement sessions and capturing the beautiful chaos of family sessions.

I'm a wedding and portrait photographer based out of Connecticut, but I will travel anywhere! When I'm not taking photos which is very unlikely, I'm either hanging at a coffee shop sipping on some chai, hiking, paddle boarding with my pup Minnie, strolling through a garden shop, or catching a sunset down at the beach and having a picnic. I'm a wife, mom, Jesus-follower and dog mama. My job is to capture beautiful in-between moments that make your story so special!

We work with the average human, not models, and through prompting, and just sort of watching you (god that feels creepy to say), we'll craft gorgeous images that feel like you. I'm not interested in making images that look standard, or that don't tell a story, that's the whole point of hiring a photographer right? To be able to tell your wedding day story.
